I'd vote to keep all the gods like Raiden and Shinnok, and also some characters like Scorpion and Quan Chi as you guys said and continue their storylines. I think it'd be cool to see in the future too ...

To answer your question, no, MKA is easier on Wii, but also a lot more fun. The fatalities can get annoying, but the supermoves are great.

I first beat it with my custom character (at the time a ninja named Cloud) but then I beat it with SubZero, Scorpion, Kenshi, and Stryker, in that order.
