Wow, they've really outdone themselves with this render. I am glad to see the new detail added, not to mention he seems like the only one who really had some major work done to him.

I think this is my favorite render yet (and that's including Catwoman, rawr). we've always seen one extreme or the other with Shang Tsung, being either a really old man in flowing robes or the young man sucking souls out with no remorse... so seeing Shang looking kind of middle-aged is really nice.
I absolutely LOVE his clothing, as well. the texturing looks a lot like snake-skin, which is VERY him. not to mention the style... it kinda makes me think of a type of tactical style, but that's just me. ^_^;

This is a pretty awesome version of Tsung.
I wasn't much of a fan of using him (except DA) but the way he looks now... yeah, I'm gonna do some soul sucking.

Looks pretty cool . I hope that in gameplay , he will be able to transform . Geez when was last time he transform besides MKT and previous ?

That was the last time he was able to transform.
He did it in Shaolin Monks, but you couldn't play as him.

...despite my previous reaction to the screenshot, this render shows off his essential features far better, making this render indisputably the best so far. The grey adds tremendous character and experience, the meticulous designs on his clothing emphasize the work the MK Krew put into him, and the skulls in his energy grip my eyes with demented fabrications. So far Tsung will be the most used character on my slate.
