did you mean Captain America? Marvel had nothing to do with DC. =)
and why be mad about it? Liu Kang is as much the face of Mortal Kombat as Scorpion is, so why would he be excluded from this release?

I first didn't know who the hell was Captain Marvel ( Thought he was a marvel character ) , but then I seen him and I loled . He looks like an unmasked Flash ! Otherwise great to have Liu Kang however

For those of you who don't know...
Captain America is a Marvel character.
He's the USA-themed dude with the shield.
Then, there's Captain Marvel, who is a DC character.
Basically, he's Superman in a Flash suit. And a STUPID character to have in the roster.
I swear, if they pull that crap with the Mortal Kombat characters and put in someone like Kobra over Mileena, then I'll never buy the game.

rofl, and here I thought Jay had a strange typo. but wow... I'd never even heard of this... *scrolls down to previous replies to get his name again* Captain Marvel character.
I thought this game was supposed to be bringing together the iconic characters of both franchises., not putting in second string as well to run with the big dogs.
here's hoping the guys at Midway get the fan reaction before making this decision final.

If Midway sticks with the Howard Porter illustrations instead of Alex Ross' ones, he may not look that bad.
In any case...he sucks. He is actually kind of one of the big dogs, not a Justice leaguer, but he had some big mini-series publications. Still, he sucks. Could've easily had Green Lantern or Martian Manhunter to replace him...or anyone else really.

I agree with Krave, I've been badly wanting Green Lantern to make an appearance in this game. Dunno why, but I think Green Lantern vs Shang Tsung would be an amazing fight.

I think Captain Marvel was included just to have a popular character in the International Justice League...you could probably expect Power Girl from the Europe's Justice League.
They really need to reveal some villains though.

Captain America is the one with Marvel.
Captain Marvel is with DC. Strange, but true. Anyhoo, I think it sucks to have Liu Kang in another MK game. He sucks major ass, now.

The funny thing about Captain Marvel (from DC), is that he is no longer called Captain Marvel by the masses, but instead, SHazam.
Marvel Comics actually owns the right to their Captain Marvel superhero.
It gets confusing.
But back to the point, I agree with all of you. WHY are they using somone like Shazam instead of someone much more popular like Lantern, Aquaman, Gladiator, Wonderwoman, (the green dude) etc.
If any of the ones I named above ARE being used, then scratch my comment.
