Aside from the fact that Armageddon had no bios with the game, and that there are only a few released, don't you think that there are many other things that Armageddon could have featured but didn't?
One: The roster of characters is incomplete in the PS2 and Xbox versions. This really bums me out, because I can't afford a Wii.
Two: Certain features of MK3 and 4 don't exist in Armageddon either in some versions or altogether. Endurance/team fights exist only on the Wii version, while other elements (such as MK4's tournament mode) aren't there at all. I would have liked to see a tournament mode myself, as well as things like an multi-endurance fight ladder (like the one in Trilogy). The tournament mode of MK4 was interesting, I could set all the participants on computer control and sit back and watch the chaos unfold...not to mention the occaisonal fatalities.
Three: Unless you have the Premium Edition, there's not much in terms of good bonus video material. Also a bummer, especially for me.
Four: The Fatality system. I know many of you think that it's great, but I prefered the character-specific ones. I was especially hoping to see Scorpion's "Toasty!" fatality in crisp 3D format. And while I'm on the subject of finishing moves, I also kinda wished they had included other finishing moves.
Five: I do like the Konquest mode of Armageddon, but I wish that the "kombat training" that had been part of the previous two games' Konquests had not been removed in this one.

I have always liked the mortalKombat Deception Konqest the best because you could go in any realms and you can do alot of stuff

But remember, PS2 and XBox get online play... That's always been the excuse for Nintendo to get the more detailed games.
Yes, unless you got an american PS2, you cant get the premium, which blows for most.
At first, i like the idea of the make your own fatalities, now their just boring and repeditive, no matter how much you mix them up.
And MKD's was the best, it offered a full roam RPG style while getting to know the basics. _________________

I think we can all agree with that, awow. By now we're all wondering whether or not MK 8 will be a disappointment, but praying that it isn't. Considering that we know very little right now, it's hard to say what to expect from it. All we know, and this isn't new for a lot of us, is that we're gonna see a new fighting system, storyline and new characters. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

Yeah, I liked Deception's the most too. I was thinking that if I could make my own customized video games (regardless of content, amount of memeory, etc.), I would have modified my copy of Armageddon to feature more stuff, including another "Training" segment of Konquest that features a scrolling story segment, then allows complete access to everywhere I'd been in the Konquest mode. I was thinking that Chameleon could be the character for this one, and that the story could span the entire MK series (after all, he apparently witnessed everything).

I agree and think they should return to that. I explained my thoughts in the topic of my ideas of the new game tell me your thoughts. It's in gen MK diuss under "hello my fellow MK gamers."

I as well agree w/all of you, IMO armageddon is the worst game they ever came up with. From MK1 through MKD (the pinnacle) gradually got better, then after Deception it went down hill. I'm almost afraid to get MK8 because they're getting worse. I'm starting to lose faith in MK.
Another thing I don't like is the fact that if they have the same style or weapon of earlier games they should have the combos of that style or weapon. _________________

I've always kinda have a beef with Raiden's Staff being used as a weapon. I really liked the War Hammer from MK4. The Staff just seems awkward.

I dont like that sindel doesnt have her hair whip, that move was awesome. Blaze is also a horrible bad guy, and the konquest sucks, deception was much better.

Well, the Konquest mode wasn't that bad, RatedRSuperstar. It introduced nasty ways to destroy the main character and introduced death traps throughout the game, making it harder to complete. Now, the biggest disappointment comes when the Konquest is not free roam, like Deception's. You're on a set course, and if you do not collect everything you're supposed to (the relics), you cannot go back and get them, unless you have not yet progressed to the next part of the game, or into a new realm. If anything, you're at a slight advantage if you do the Konquest mode first because as you progress through the Konquest, you actually learn to master one out of the 60+ characters available. I didn't go through Konquest first, but I remembered a few kombos with characters I had already seen before, then I took it from there and mastered about 1/6th of the roster. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

Now there's one thing I did like about Armageddon--although Air Kombat was a bit generic, I thought it was kinda fun.
But adding Classic versions of characters, that would have been awesome.
