I realize that many of you have already unlocked most (if not all) the secrets, costume pieces, moves, and specials in MK: A, but I thought we could discuss some of the many ways of kwikly obtaining those brutal koins...
After many straight hours of letting my cousin fatality my KAF to atoms, I stumbled on a much kwiker, but still somewhat annoying, way of obtaining koins in VS.
My personal manner: Sektor's got Bats in his belfry.
Materials needed: 2 controllers, 2 profiles (1 male, 1 female,) and time...
Lots and lots of time...
And uppercuts...
Lots and lots of uppercuts...
Step 1: Log in to the kollector's profile on the main menu.
Step 2: Enter Kombat mode and enter V.S.
Step 3: Choose the Belltower as your arena, and any Kombatant of your choice (MUST HAVE A POP-UP. If your KAF doesn't have one, don't use it. Sektor is the intuitive choice for PLAYER 2, as that's the default.)
Step 4: Enter Kombat. Maneuver yourself around your opponent and 'push' him into the fence.
Step 5: Pop-up now. He'll rattle against the bell and you'll get a bonus of 50 right off.
Step 6: Once your foe recovers, maneuver both of Kombatants into the shadow under the bell you bashed you foe into earlier.
Step 7: Rinse, Lather, Repeat with the pop-ups, and you should get 450 koins for round 1 (350 for the pop-ups, 100 from the flawless bonus.)
Step 8: Your foe has recovered for round 2, now treat him to another punishing barrage of pop-ups.
By the end of Round Two, you should either have gotten another 450 koins, or an even larger number (depending on if you got a fatality bonus higher than 100 koins, any less and you'll lose koins, to a minimum of 350...)
