Could it be more obvious where they ripped that from? Kira becomes a Goddess of Death.
I could be imagining things but I'm sure that isn't the only time that I have heard of the name Kira being associated with Gods of Death.

Why is the topic called Kobra's ending dude? Where did you hear Kira, Goddess of Death before dude im curious ^-^ But I hate Kobra he has the most steriotypical MK name in history if you ask me. "K"obra lol hope hes killed off

Kira gets turned into a Goddess of Death in Kobra's ending and kills him.

I was reffering to Death Note. Light Yagami is the villain in it. He finds a notebook that belonged to a God of Death and kills people by writing their names in it. Nobody knows who is doing the killings but it is clear someone is behind it so the killer is known as Kira. Because he is using the Light has a Shinigami/God of Death hanging about him all the time that only he can see.
Would you say it was just a coincidence that Boon chose the character called Kira to become a Goddess of Death in an ending? Of all the characters it could have been?

hmmmmm dunno man you see I have friends in to it but Im not really a fan. Boon has done that shit with big trouble in little china and shit so it could be true. You shud ask him on his twitter man he actually replies lol I love anime though what other series you into?
Any speculations on MK9? I have made a topic about it in the forum under general mk discussion. Youy shud check it out and reply man I have my own there.
Any idea as to why there are hardly ever people online here? I love the site ^-^

I'm into a lot of Anime series, well I have pretty much stopped watching programmes/films that have real people in them.
Although this isn't really the thread to discuss anime other than the reference to Death Note. Had it been any other character that Boon had chosen to have Kobra pick it would have been less obvious where he got the god of death idea.

Another God of Death named Kira is the lieutenant in the 3rd squad in Bleach although he isn't as big a part to bleach as Kira was to Death Note.
