Post subject: Mysterious Figure in Background (MK2 - Living Forrest) |

For years we have been wondering if anyone else has noticed the following.
In MK2 (SNES) in the Living Forrest stage their seems to be a Rayden like figure in the background (He appears to be there twice, once in the left of the stage and once to the right) , it looks like he has been turned into a tree of some kind. Has anyone noticed this before. We have never found any discussions about this.

Yeah, I've seen the man in question, and have oftene wondered the same thing myself. Always convinced myself that he was just a regular hunter who was hunting in the living forest, and got killed in there.
Don't know for sure what his deal is though.

Wondered the same in my younger days.
Like Death Rider I think he was a warrior who got killed by The Screaming Forest.

Hmmmmmm....Played MK2 recently on PS3, and found that he's on the left side for sure, but I don't think I saw him on the right. I guess I'll have to go with deathrider's explanation on this.

I think there is another one on the right side in some of the ports.

Thanks guys for the contributions! But we came to the conclusion that the person must be Rayden, the God of Thunder and Lightning!! Did nobody else came to the same conclusion?
Off course it could also be a random figure that was murdered by the mysterious forrest, I guess we can never be sure.
However, since Rayden is a God we can assume he is omnipotent, therefore regarding this issue, it can be deduced that Rayden, God, can easily be this figure.
