well im pretty sure that wont be a problem cause i probly would of heard about it but i could be wrong maby this is a problem but im fairly sure it will be alowed in austrailia but i supose ill just stay out of it cause well im in u.s.a. any way. but i would sign if i thought it were true but i dont quite feel like looking into it so i gess ill just let it be.

First of all, I know I have been gone for a hell of a lot of time, and I needed to visit my friends here on TMK! Can't wait until April 19th cause I won't have to pay a dime for it! Preordered my copy in November of 2010! Holy shi*t dude! MK has been outlawed in Australia?! Wow, that sucks! Consider it done! You will have my signature because a great gaming franchise such as Mortal Kombat should not be banned from sale in any country, even if there are laws on the sales of M rated games. It's because of stupid parents who decide to buy whatever their kids want without reading the ratings, or doing the research first. And speaking of sales regulations, they are actually in talks here where I am to impose stricter guidelines on these sales. Personally, I think that anyone under 18 needs to be checked for ID when they go to try and purchase a game. Furthermore, I think that stores should be required to explain the kind of content that is in the game before a parent, or someone under 18 purchases the game. I salute you for your fight to bring Mortal Kombat back to Australia! Best wishes, my friend!

Yes there is a ban in Australia but it was a very close call  . Yes it does suck and its all becouse of this one peanut that wont let us have an "R" rating on our games. They can ban what they like at this time but there is ways around it. Either just buy it online from the states or go to game traders and ask them to. Some game Traders are importing copys for us big fans. Thats what im doing so i know they havent cut parts out if it ends up making it through

I hate to burst your bubble, man, but you do run a great risk if you try and buy it in the states. I'm sure the authorities check all imports that come in and will confiscate anything that is considered a restricted sale item. From the document that is posted on the TMK site, all importing and sales of the game have been banned from even making its way into the country. Best of luck if anyone finds a way around the MK ban in Australia.

Na its been the same for many years now with our silly game laws. Some reason customs doesnt mind if you import these games its just shops cant sell them. But yeah many of us Aussies import banned video games with no problems. My mate works in game traders so thats why i will get a copy but he did say he wasnt selling them. Either way im getting the game as iv never had a problem in the past. Thing is there is many of these game stores that will mod/chip playstation/x boxs too. No one cares about that but at the same time have their panties in a knot over some ma15+ games. 100% sure they really wont care like it has always been they rather you dont. One copy of Mortal Kombat for personal use is no problem but 1000 copy's then they will be knocking on the front door. Was the same thing for that zombie around 2009 "left for dead" i think it was called. There was a ban for that in Australia but everyone i know into that sorta game just imported it. I will get it and i will post a comment when i get it

Sucks that you have to go threw all that importing. Just to get Mortal Kombat that shouldn't have been ban in the first place.
