I am wondering if anyone is having the same problem that I am. And if anyone could provide any helpful information, it would be greatly appreciated. Here seems to lie the problem. I am attempting to perform the combos listed in the prima magazine in their exact order. I seen where it says you can go ahead with the button sequence and it will memorize what you do regardless of your speed if your timing is off.
Here is the problem. I am doing exactly what the magazine is suggesting, however it simply will not perform the combos that are listed. I am using Ermac in the new Mortal Kombat and simply trying to do a basic 6 hit intermediate combo. It's listed as follows
Force Lift, Dash in, 1,2,1, Force Ball
ALSO
7 hit: 3,1,Force Lift, Force Port, Force Push
Problem: No matter what speed I move at, rather pressing the buttons in a quick sequence or waiting for the player animation to play out on screen, Ermac simply does not teleport quick enough to finish the combo. And to make things worse, I force lift, dash in, and then the 1,2,1 sequence doesn't even carry out. It simply will not hit the opponent.
Is there some sort of special trick to performing these combos? I am doing everything VERY quick and also slowing down to try and match the actual character animations. Nothing is working. Can someone please help? I don't understand.
Details: I use 3,1 to begin the combo that is UNBLOCKED, utilize the force lift, and no matter WHAT I DO, Ermac simply does not force teleport quick enough to continue the combo under ANY circumstance....This has been the case with all the combos. Anybody have any suggestions?
