Some of the biggest news concerning Mortal Kombat in the last decade is floating about, TMK is normally bustling with activity at times like these, so where is everyone? Jabbawocky, ChibiHana, DarkSpecter, Mr Sparkle, scorpion7, bloodyshadow, Violater, VainZiler, TMK. hell, this list could go on forever, where are you?

I could go over a laundry list of reasons why these people are absent, my friend. I've been paying as much attention to the forums as I can. I'm sure that they'll eventually make their presence known either once the game comes out, or after the game's release. Things usually get more active once people need help with the game, or someone has completed the storyline.

Yo! Funny I should read this today. After I got word about the new MK game and the webisode we saw on youtube, I decided to pay a visit and here I am.
If this game pleases and the webisodes are well done back to back, MK may have my attention to the fullest all over again.
Dont get me wrong. Im not exactly a finicky fan of MK. I still play MK 1, MK 2, Ultimate MK3 and MK Armageddon today. But the costume creating has stopped and I still hate MK vs DCU. lol.
If this new direction (or at least how it used to be in the good ol days) of the franchise stays solid, I'll be back around much more often to get my fill on MK news. Im really glad to see this site is still functioning. I still consider it the best, regardless of activeness.
Im also planning to make all new MK stealth suits (or the ninjas as some say) for next year. Im going to ditch foam and actually sculpt the armor out and cast them out of latex and foam. I've been thinking about trying to reproduce the suits that showed up in the old MK2 game commercials.
Or something similar. :]
We'll see how things go. I have gotten insanely busy for the last 3 years. I now run my own card company and produce comic book art on a monthly basis. It's crazy times with this bad economy. No longer living in L.A. either. Just moved to hot as hell Arizona last October. I like it out here much better than L.A. regardless of heat though.
Anyways, its good to be here and good to see some familiar names.
TMK still rocks the house!

Welcome back, DarkSpecter, my partner in crime.  It's been a long time since we've seen you posting on the boards. As far as this new game goes, it's supposed to be completely explosive man! I've tried the demo myself and it is kickass! The storyline rocks, plus the fact that they're going back to the good ol' days with the 2D fighting engine. Over 2 dozen characters plus a PS3 exclusive visit from God of War's Kratos. Mortal Kombat has been reborn! The story mode option has been included to tell us exactly what happened after MK: Armageddon, and how we got back to this time! You've got to try this game out man. I guarantee that there will be at least one point where you are completely blown away by the kontent in this game! They even found a way to reintroduce Scorpion's Toasty! Fatality, and from what I've heard, many other character's classic fatalities are supposed to be included, plus the reintroduction of babalities! If I were in your shoes, I definitely would not pass up this game! It is the sequel that should have been put out instead of a merger with the DC Universe! I will give you a more thorough analysis in the MK Reviews section in the TMK Sage forums later after I've spent some time playing it, my friend.

I've noticed the spammers as well and I've made a few threads that have been keeping this place a little lively. I just do not know what else to do about the spammers, or to attempt to keep this place lively.

Why would the owner of this site abandon it? He may just have something going on to where he can't be online presently, or, he is searching for better security measures to get rid of these spammers. You never know what the deal is man, so I wouldn't be too quick to judge.

Well, I totally agree that this place is turning into a barren wasteland, but at the same time, I'm sure a lot of people have their hands full with MK 9. We'll see how things go man. It's still awkward to not see Total posting new stuff on MK 9, or even Chibi. I just hope nothing's happened to them.
