Well i mean even though he said he's scrapping pretty much everything we've played in the previous mortal kombats. As long as they make the fatalitys the same old way and not the --!#$@-- armageddon way then maybe the thing he puts in that replaces the fighting styles might work out good too. if it doesn't then yeah i agree once i get a xbox 360 and see reviews on it ill take the reviews as my grain and salt if i buy it or not if it gets like a 6.2 or lower then that then yeah wouldn't be a pickup for me for sure.

I like Kira, though I may be biased, her and Ashrah are my favorite post MK4 characters. Seriously though, if Kira comes back, she needs to get her own moves. And the ONE original special move she gets... gets transferred to Sonya under "Armed Forces". -_-
My thoughts, give her a new moveset. I like Dragon Teeth though, and get rid of her specials besides Night Shade, as that is her own special. And please take Armed Forces off of Sonya.
Kobra was "meh" for me. Not just gameplay, but storyline. He was just like, "Dude! I know martial arts... I wonder if I can kill someone with it." I gotta say he had the weakest story in my opinion...
Ashrah and the others, I felt worked fairly well... Either way, I have the sinking feeling that Kira WON'T be returning, but in the slim chance that she does, redo her moveset...

I must say, If that happens I will be very disapointed. I honestly see MK8 being the worst mess up midway ever makes. From what I have heard of it, why the new system anyway. I agree, as I've said before they need to tie up loose ends of the last 3 games, and then start from scratch if they want to. But then again, if MK goes in a totally new direction with all new caracters I might not get it and stop my collection. 
PS I liked Kira and especially Shujinko, who else can absorb other fighting techniques, besides that's the main storyline in MKD. Have Kira, Kano and Sonya in the next MK. I liked Kira in MKD than Kano in MKDA.

Kano's gameplay may have slipped, though his imprint on Mortal Kombat is substantial. I couldn't imagine Boon not including both Sonya and Kano in the future. Kira could only make it to maintain the legacy of the Black Dragon, though she is still expendable...
...and no matter how they're taking the next game, if the trailer is as good as it was for Geddon, it'll be hard to resist getting it anyway. I'd be fooled twice.
