Sometimes those two browsers crash. I also have both installed, but I mainly use explorer regardless of all the security issues. I dont like Firefox. Especially when on Myspace.com.
The problem can also be about the latest drivers installed on your machine. OS can also play a role. I use WinXP pro. I had a lot of trouble with Win2000 and millenium.

Yeah i have windows xp pro too but firefox sometimes works better for me then internet explorer 7 like some things will be slow on ie7 while firefox runs them nice and smooth.

Wow I don't know how it never occured to me though TMK has always run pretty slow via IE7 for me. I can't believe I haven't tried FF yet, thanks for the idea y'all.

No problem and yup the firefox runs the pit theme fast as hell and the scrolling is fast too firefox defitnely owns ie7 for sure.

Of course I know that  However when doing mods, you should edit all the files for all themes...you never know when you might need them in the future. Also some of the anti-spam mods have admin panel tpl files...so I need those depending on what theme I am using.

Oh! BTW, some MK themes won't show when using firewall software like Norton FW.
Even though you can be told that you can edit the access in NFW, the truth is, some things can be tedious to change around.
So far, my norton is now blocking the top banner of this site, but for the Special TMK Theme, it runs perfectly fine.
Im also using IE 6 and not 7. Everything runs great with IE6.
Ive not had any problems securitywise that I know of for a nice long while too.
I turned off my Windows Updates as well.
Well back to theme topic, I sure as hell cant wait for the next new theme. I wish I could create one!

I design the site to run with IE... at the time, it was and still is the most used browser...thats the only reason. Firefox runs TMK nicely, however firefox doesn't like certain table layouts and php scripts which don't display properly...no big deal. TMK does run best in IE6...I upgraded to IE7 and It's slightly slower.

Well, I studied comparisons while loading TMK through different browsers, here's what I came up with...use Firefox. Maxthon and K-Meleon bombed, as well any other subcategories of Mozilla. What surprised me was Opera, and how horribly it progressed, considering it ranks by far the fastest browser (through technicalities). Netscape and IE7 are the only alternates I'd suggest...and I find IE7 to be a lot faster than IE6, I'm surprised to hear different.
So Total, when VGS' themes are done, since you're in the spirit, can we expect any more themes soon?

Yes...the only thing stopping me making more TMK themes was the spam bot problem, which in the last 24 hours I have fixed, and i seriously doubt a spam bot can get around this one, lol...in the past 24 hours about 15 spam bots tried to register and all got denied...suck shit...thats all I can say! haha:)
