It's post looks just like a post made by a spam bot. It most likely is a bot, not a person. This is what happens sometimes, people create software to stop things like that, then others create scripts that can get past software. The good thing is that this seems to be the only one that got in, but if more are able to, we might need another program to stop them.

I don't know about that, Albert. TMK has already put in mod after mod onto this site. This latest one that he put on has seemingly been holding up to it's expectations and denying spam bots from signing up with the site. **Burns spam bot with a Toasty! remark**

Software can last but someone else will eventually make a program that can surpass it. I see there is another bot advertising "comic sex" that just got here. It looks like a new mod to stop them could be needed.

It's very doubtfull they can surpase this software, as the questions are unique to TMK. I belive someone has manually made account for spam bots to use.

I didn't ignore you, I installed TC witch has worked wonders. I am not certain yet how the bots got passed this, it may of been on old account with an open proxy reg. I also don't like the idea of restricting URLS to people...I recent;y registered at another MK site to post news on the Khameleon render we got... and it kept blocking my posts cause I had URL in the message body.

Is there any program that can stop people posting messages with certain words? Words that are wht most of them post. An example of the latest one in General Discussion, "Pills" It wouldn't be too big a loss as not much of us have ever used that word here, and if for some reason we needed to, we could say p ills and get past it.
Just an idea, seeing as the threads they post are mostly the same. Lots of them advertise Pills, Porn, some of the words they use in that posts that you remember could be put on the list, One was about Britney Shaved and posted a few times, hey if posts containing the word Britney were blocked that would be no real loss. Can't remember them here, apart from this thread,

I think the poster was a bot as everything in his profile was about cigarettes, we generally don't speak about tobaco here.
Is there any type of software that can do what I am thinking of? It wouldn't stop every single bot from posting, as it could only have a few words on it, the one in this thread would get past if it could get past the other program as it does advertise something really weird, as I didn't click I have no idea what he is on about. Another one that would get past, if it got past the questions, I have seen on MKC was the mocking bot, starts a thread, "Cool site in web" the then goes on to post the link of the site he is on. But at least a mocking bot doesn't advertise anything bad.
