I'm not finished yet. I have an interesting twist for my ending planned so be prepared for it. You all will be shocked to find out what happens in the end because my warrior still has to return to Earthrealm with the Grandmaster's son. It will leave you asking for more.

XIII) Freedom and Escape
After being unchained, Scorpion's son awakened and looked at Hellspawn, but the warrior noticed something different about Scorpion's son: he didn't appear to look the same. Even though the boy was bloodstained from where he was tortured, the corruption of the Netherrealm had somehow altered the boy's physical form. He had turned out to be much like his father, seeking out vengeance and fueled by anger. The boy's eyes were orange. He was still in the same clothes he'd been in since Scorpion's rally. The two raced back down the same pathway Hellspawn came. A path of destruction filled with the blood and guts of the victims he had killed showed him the path back down to where the bodies of the Onis Moloch and Drahmin were. The stench of death filled the room. The two sat there and rested for a while, feasting on the two Oni that were left in the room. Blood squirted from their mouths as they threw away the bones of their kill. They rested there for the night in order to avoid the demons and zombies of the Netherrealm. Hellspawn and the boy left the palace at daybreak and made their way outside the city. It took them a couple of weeks before reaching the Eastern Town again. They stayed the night at the same place Hellspawn had stayed during his first stay. The two finally reached the portal to exit the Netherrealm, for the two did not wish to spend anymore time in the Netherrealm. The amulet he had taken from Quan Chi acted like a key, allowing them through to Earthrealm.

XIV) Arrival and Scorpion's Rage
It took another month before the two reached the Shyrai-Ryu headquarters. Hellspawn expected to be welcomed back with enthusiasm, but all the members looked at the boy in shock. The Grandmaster looked on in shock at his son, who had been altered by the corruption of the Netherrealm. Scorpion's eyes turned blood red and looked at his assassin. He knew what had happened and no explanation was necessary. The corruption of the Netherrealm had altered his son's form. The boy had become a spectre like his father. Hellspawn apologized to his Grandmaster, "Grandmaster, I apologize for this. This was the work of the Netherrealm. It -" Scorpion cut him off, "SILENCE! I know it wasn't your fault, Hellspawn. At least I have my son back. My son will forever be cursed to walk the realms like me, fueled by anger and vengeance. You have done something none of my men could have done." His mission was accomplished. Scorpion would begin training his son to control his powers like his father could. As for Hellspawn, he would go on to become General of the armies of the Shyrai-Ryu. With the amulet he took from Quan Chi, they would go on to conquer every clan and become the most powerful of ninja through the ages. No one could stand in their way!

Thanks man. It took me quite a while to compose this. I wanted this to be perfect. It was not easy to write this. I'm no Steven King, but I know how to be descriptive with my work. Mortal Kombat is supposed to be graphic, but if it's not done so in Fan Fiction, it's not MK Fan Fiction. I'm actually thinking about writing another piece. Maybe on what would happen in Edenia if Mileena defeated Blaze.

Well, that's part of it, but I kinda wanted to give people an idea of what it would be like if Scorpion defeated Blaze. You know, the one where Scorpion's son was kidnapped? *SPOILER* Also, I thought it would be nice to give a description of what Scorpion's wife and son would look like. Hell, no one knows what they look like man. Did you think of that?

Well, possibly. I have a few ideas in my head on this. I may write a story on Taven, the half God son of Argus and Delia. It may be about what would happen if Taven became Protector of Edenia, or I might even do Daegon. The general idea for this story would be to publish this Fan Fic into a book. I wonder what TMK would think of this story, and whether or not it would be good enough to be publishable.  Just curious, though, did you notice any references to the old games at all? Possibly old fatalities, stuff like that?
