Even here in the U.S., even though word on the street is MK, every arcade you go into may or may not have MK, but they always have Tekken. I've had many arguments debating MK vs SF and Tekken with other arcade junkies.
Some people just don't like to think, and enjoy mashing buttons. I say MK doesn't need them, they're no challenge anyway.
