Post subject: New hero in MKDA? |

With Liu Kang being killed off, who's going to take his place as the main good guy, or girl of Mortal Kombat. Earth's gonna need a new hero. Any ideas? Here's my views.
Sub Zero- More than likely. He's one of the most popular, and his bio says that he's reformed the Lin Kiu as a force for good.
Kung Lao- Another likely choice. He could be out for revenge for Liu's death, and is from the same group.
Kitana- Like Kung Lao, she'd be looking for vengance for Liu Kang's death. Plus she's still trying to destroy the evil forces in Outworld.
Blind Kenshi- Would be interesting. His story looks cool, that he's out to avenge his people, and so far he's very popular.
Sonya/Jax- Please don't let it be them. I like them as fighters, but they're backgrounds are not as interesting as most other characters.
Raiden- Works better as a mentor to the good guys than being the main man.
Johnny Cage- Very cool, but probably to self centred to become the champoin of Earth.
Li Mei/Frost- Don't know enough about these characters. Frost looks cool, but I really don't see her being a main character.

if there is going to be a new hero, hewill probably be related to liu kang some how. personally, i think kung lao deserves to be champion more than anyone. after all, it was his ancestor that was the orginal champion. and then liu kang won, who is a decendant of kung lao. so it looks like they keep it in the family so to speak. so i say kung lao.

I'm hoping it'll be Sub-Zero but i think it could be Kung-Loa or Kitanna. It might be a charater they haven't introduced yet.

Well,i think the new champion should be Li Mei.MK should have a woman as main character for once.Kitana wouldn't be bad either.
If its once again a man,it should be Johnny.He's a better fighter than Liu Kang and has a much cooler personality.Not to mention better moves.
Even though i don't know his story yet,Bo Rai Cho looks like he would be a good champion.
If he was in the game,Kabal should be the main character.I really think he should have won mk3.Just check his ending.He sounded like the main character.He should have been in mk4,as the new champion.Liu Kang should have died in mk4.
But hey,he's gonna die in MK:DA(finally),so i've got no problem.

Well for all the hardcore fans,know that the first person to succed Liu Kang is Nightwolf,Hence,if they are following the story line they will HAVE to crown Nightwolf the new Champion

As far as I know, Nightwolf is still alive and well in the story. I really don'tsee him as a main character though. Sorry Nightwolf fans, I do like the guy, he looks cool, but a main hero he aint.

Hopfully we'll get Kung Lao as champ. Why? cause if he dies I won't be too upset. I don't want to see an "irreplacable" character as champ.

I was thinking how cool it would be if Scorpion was the hero. I always found him somewhat of a likable, sympathetic personality. After all, his main goal has always been defending the honor of his slain family.
