Has anyone else noticed that the picture of Puzzle Kombat on the cover shows Baraka fighting Havik, who hadn´t been part of the original Puzzle Kombat?
Well, considering the fact I´ve read the creators wish to keep the game ´as close as possible to the original´, this image probably doesn´t mean anything. I just thought it´s worth noticing

Did they mention Puzzle Kombat will be precisely the same too? I find it harder to believe having Havik in there wasn't on purpose. They obviously intended to make new characters, right?

Q: Some ports of UMK3 contained Sheeva, while others contained Noob and Rain. Will this be the "Ultimate" Ultimate MK3 and contain all of them? Or will this be more or less a direct port of the arcade game? The same question can be asked of Puzzle Kombat; will we see new characters and/or super moves?
A: This version of the game will be based off the arcade version. So with that being said, we want this to be as close as possible to the original.
Well, now that I read it again, it seems that the answer probably concerns only the first part of the question. But I still doubt they would add some new features, because for them and most fans the Puzzle Kombat is only bonus feature (and the developers would also have to get permission by Boon and co.). Not mentioning Ashrah and Hotaru being showed on loading screens, although not being part of the original game in Deception. We´ll just have to wait

I guess it's possible. But if they were putting more characters, wouldn't it make a lot more sense to include more characters from UMK3? Considering they're combined that seemed a lot more logical to me.

I noticed that Havik was a puzzle fighter myself, but hadn't mentioned it to anyone yet.

It's pretty much the most popular system out there so making MK for it is inevitable. They'd be throwing away a chance to make a ton of money since no other system sells in the same numbers.
