Sheeva only wanted to kill Shao Kahn because he betrayed the Shokans.

I don't believe later games are retcons of earlier games, I believe they're mistakes, and the MK storyline has always been flimsy. And I understand the Lin Kuei doesn't only hire Chinese, as well I've never had a problem with that, however I do have a problem with someone (Sub-Zero) from Chinese descent (according to his official background) looking like a typical white guy with a ponytail. He's supposed to look Chinese, can you not make Chinese people with better graphics?

With Shao Kahn favouring the Shokans above the Centaurs once again (after switching Goro to his side), Sheeva is likely back to being on the forces of darkness (assuming Shao Kahn will take her back). Jay is correct though that her motivations for attacking Kahn were because of his betrayal of the Shokan people, not because she was aligned to the good guys or anything.

Well because I'm the kind of person who believes in a single, canon, fluid MK universe, I do what I can to explain the discrepincies of the previous games so that it all makes sense. According to the MK1 instruction book Sub-Zero's (the one which became Noob Saibot) dad and mom lived in America, and I think his mother was American (if not both his parents). So, it's possible that the Sub-Zero brothers took on the more caucasian look of their mother, which explains why they look the way they do. Even in Mythologies: Sub-Zero, he's not Chinese in appearance.

I have a feeling Sheeva's bio would be on the last ones to be released.
They really are taking their time making them. I guess that's a good thing =)

In Sheeva's MK3/UMK3/MKT ending, it seemed like she had some good intentions, with looking after her race, and putting a stop to Shao Kahn.
