Hey gang,
So recently I've had an urge to go back and play some good ol' Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Last year I acquired an Action Replay for the XBox and was able to play the story mode as Reptile, Goro or Kitana. The game freezes when it asks you to perform a multality or brutality since these characters don't have any, but you can still play through most of the game as these characters.
Onto the point of this thread. I want to download a two-player saved game file, with one person as Reptile or Kitana and the other player as Liu Kang or Kung Lao (thus allowing me and my friend to beat the whole game). I've seen a clip on YouTube with two players as unplayable characters, so I know it's possible (the clip was actually of Reptile and Kintaro on the last level just before the fight with Shao Kahn/Kintaro/Shang Tsung). Does anyone know where I can find a game save like this for the XBox version of MK:SM? It may only be possible on the PS2 version (since its Action Replay allows you to input codes, including what character player one and player two will be). I've already checked the main Action Replay site (www.codejunkies.com), but it only offers game saves of one-player mode as Johny Cage, Kitana, Goro, Reptile and Baraka, and I'd like one of a two player game.

yeah can't be possible on x-box sounds pretty cool though how far can you get until the game freezes???

Well because you have all the skills like wall climb and wall jump, etc you can beat the whole game except for the level where you fight Kitana and where you fight Reptile, because you need to perform a multality to get through to Kitana and a Brutality to get to Reptile, and the unselectable characters don't have any programmed in. You also can't go through the big door in the portal area because you need 5 tournament victories, which you can only get by defeating Reptile and Kitana.
So, is there no where you can get 2-player saved games for the XBox version, with one of the players as Reptile, Kitana, Johnny Cage, etc? Or is it only the PlayStation fans who can get all the good stuff with code inputs?

I have the US version. I don't think there'd be a difference between the two really. Can anyone help me out finding 2 player game-save for the XBox version?

I don't have an X-Box but I read soemthing about a mod chip. I have no idea what is, but I think you can do a lot of fun stuff with it.

Not only are mod chips illegal but you have to install them yourself, and half the time they damage or completly destroy your console. They do allow you to do a lot of kickass things with games (in fact, a lot of Action Replay game saves are provided by people who use mod chips to do the normally impossible).
I have a friend who modded his XBox and was able to play almost every single video game from the Atari era right up to N64 on the system. Some games didn't work, but I'd say about 90% did, hence why I say "almost" every single game. Having said that, his XBox no longer works (it shows the XBox logo thing when he powers it up, and then freezes). So, that's why I would never bother with one. Not to mention the fact I have no idea how to install one inside the system.
Back on topic though, I'm sure there has to be somewhere where I can get a 2 player game save for XBox's MK:Shaolin Monks. I'm a bit disappointed I can't play as Smoke or Mileena or even Sonya through the XBox version of Action Replay, since it's only the PS2's version where you actually input codes which allows you to do it. Still, it would be nice to finally be able to beat the whole game with Reptile, while player 2 was Liu Kang or Kung Lao. That's why I posted this topic to begin with. I was hoping somebody knew where I could get a game save like this. Or even if someone here had a modded XBox and could save that game file and upload it for me that'd be sweet.

Thanks for the link Chibi. I did already check GameFAQ's though. While they do have downloadable saved games for Reptile, Kitana, Johnny Cage, Goro and Baraka, those are all the 1 player ones also available at codejunkies.com I believe, which doesn't get me anywhere. 
(As I side note, playing as Kitana in storymode is hilarious; in certain in-game cinematics, the character model is really fucked up. For exmaple, her neck will be really, really long and skinny, or she'll have one, massive unibreast in the centre of her chest. I laughed my ass off when I saw both.  )

I'm not sure if there are already vidoes on YouTube of the unibreast, but I've saved the game at spots where it usually shows up (ie when Raiden first shows the Shaolin Monks the portal to Outworld after they save the Wu Shi Academy, and after the fight with Baraka). I'll use my digital camera to take some pics, but I don't know how good the quality will be, since I'll be taking a picture of a TV screen.
