I've never heard of Brett Hestla, but he might find himself getting a good ols skool googling.
Personally I like a ton of different vocal styles across the board. Anything from the high pitched opera-style metal vocals of Bruce Dickenson (Iron Maiden) to the calm relaxing pop sound of Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) to the tough street corner aggression of Xzibit, and a hell of a lot in between. The only style I've never really liked is Death Metal vocals.
Perhaps Fear Factory's remix stuff might be more to your liking. I wouldn't be a fan of it personally, but I've heard it's kinda a dance/ metal mix. As far as I know there is a remix version of their Demanufacture album called Remanufacture.

I guess I'll check that out.
I myself am a fan of many genres. I pretty much like everything, except for Trance, which scares me. Anyhoo, I do prefer rock music over all else, though. I've always enjoyed the sound of electric guitars, even a simple Acoustic melody, like in Brother by Dark New Day. I guess the piano is no longer my favorite instrument.

This song sounds like something I'd compose, surprisingly. It sounds as if it was made on several grids. I also really like how everyone was singing. Though the tempo changed abruptly, the melody is still beyond hardcore.

Ah, The Edge of Soul, haven't heard it since I was ten years old.
Dude from Paradise Lost sounds like Goro. Weird. Nice shredding on the guitars, btw.
I'm sorry, that image on the King Crimson song was creeping me the hell out. I couldn't get passed the first minute. I will say, though, sounds like something from the '70s.
Pentagram sounds cool, sounds like one of the more original '60s rock bands. Decent vocals, and the right amount of guitars. Maybe too much cymbal, but whatever. I like it.
Black Sabbath creeps me the hell out. Osborne is awesome, but damn! He's creepy. The melody played in the beginning is sweet, and I like how it gets really dark all of a sudden, but the melody itself stays the same. I've actually heard this song before, and I like it a lot. I don't know where I can get a free - and legal - mp3 for this track, though.

Ah, shit, I hate it when stuff like that goes down, bro. I managed to score a ticket for each night, so I'll be at both shows. Rumor has it that Anthrax may be the supporting act. I'm really hoping that's true, as Anthrax are my favorite band.
I'm listening to Kittie's new record at the moment. Just picked it up yesterday, and holy shit, is it heavy! Nice to see they got their vibe back.
