so in mk2 he has black hair but in mk:sm he has white, and considering there at the same time, witch is it? and when did he ever wear that purple robe?

He was like that in MK1, MK2 was saw a sexy younger black haired Tsung, with a brand new snazzy yellow outfit!!!

i know that, but in mk2 he's younger, while in MK:SM he's older
as far as time times are concerned both games coincide

MKSM was a mixture between mk1 and mk2 which made me wounder why the heck was ermac there........

Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks wasn't canon to that of mortal kombat 1 and Mortal Kombat 2. So that's why You could See Shang Tsung as being old in it as he was In mortal kombat 1. Most of the stuff you did in Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks was a twist like they remade mk2 the way they might of wanted mk2 to work out as. That's why Ermac is in shaolin monks cause they didnt use the real story and stuff of mk2 itself.

i don't think his age has ever been established, but he was created by shao kahn, and he could have done that any time i suppose
but back on topic i never realized that the begining of MK:SM was the end of MK1, i should have really, but then how come we didn't see him anti-age during MK:SM?

Shang Tsung does have his MK2 look in Shaolin Monks, but that's about half way, if not further, through the game. Before he regains the youthful look he had centuries ago, he still has his old man look from MK1. If you play through more of Shaolin Monks, you'll see him with his MK2 look. But, like others have said before, the game is considered its own continuity and not part of the established canon universe of the main Mortal Kombat games.

Well, the MK team wanted this to be canon, but they strayed way too much from the MKII comic's storyline - which fans have been thinking was canon for over a decade. So with the MK team now knowing how much the fans are serious about the storyline, they probably will release canon side game entries from now on.

...as long as they don't do remakes of games they won't ruin the story anymore. The only way they change things up is to add to the entertainment value, so you have to adapt to part of the story that hasn't been shown yet (Mythologies: Sub-Zero; Special Forces) in order to add as much as you want and still be canon.
And as a side note, Ermac was not created by Kahn. "...he exists as a life force brought together by the souls of extinguished Outworld warriors." That's from his UMK3 biography. It also says that somehow Kahn is able to control these souls on his side of tyranny.
