my guess would be either;
the first one was crap, and they gave her the sack.
or she left mid-season and they had to replace her. though i believe they have contracts to prevent this.
either way its a valid hypothesis.
edit: quick omg, Kristanna Loken was in it? she looks a bit weird but i find her strangely attractive.

Well, for the unmasked Kitana, definitely Talisa Soto, as in my opinion, she's the prettiest one. Actually, put a mask on her, and she's my choice for Kitana masked and unmasked. lol.

I liked the MK2 Kitana the most for some reason, so I'm going to have to say Katalin, with Talisa in a close second.

I would have to agree with Talisa Soto as being the best Kitana. She does look the part.
