...I always wanted them to mix adventure and fighting...until I played Geddon's Konquest. Mythologies: Sub-Zero was an excellent sub-adventure game. The others were failures, gaming-wise.
I don't see why they need an adventure game to reiterate a past storyline. Why not make a fighting game based on Outworld's invasion of Edenia instead of Earthrealm's? Plenty of characters to choose from...much room to create details in the plot and characters...also it will both bring back the tournament feel, and not suck (pending on Vogel's involvement).

I agree, I think it would be cool to have a game where other realms were visited and tried to conquer. Like Nitara's realm, or maybe Quan Chi's realm for retrobution on trying to kill Shao Kahn, or w/e.
