Mainly play RPGs and fighting games, though I dont mind the occasional puzzle and shooter.
Among my favorites, include; The Disgaea series, Final Fantasy 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, Tactics, and X-2, Soul Calibur series, Ultimate Ninja series, Starcraft series, Command and Conquer series, Warcraft (minus WoW) series, Cold Winter, Legend of Legaia, Bualders Gate series, and a few others.

i dont play many games anymore, but i like rpgs, action/adventure games and point and click adventures. along with beet-em-up:)

the obvious games come to mind: Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy series (except for Tactics. not my style), Tekken (sorry TMK!), Chrono Trigger, Tetris, Puzzle Quest, Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary...
and since hopping on the Xbox 360 bandwagon, I've accumulated a few more games that are most definitely noteworthy: Dead or Alive (3, 4, and Ultimate), Ninety-Nine Nights, Blue Dragon, BioShock, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and last, but most certainly not least... Eternal Sonata. <3
in terms of MMOs, I play both City of Villains and WoW, which are both great games, and super fun.

Other games i like besides mortal kombat are mainly sports games like nhl 08,madden 08, ill buy nba 2k8 after xmas and i also like shooter games which ill get halo 3 on december 15th for my xbox 360. I also like rpg games and of course other fighter games.

I'll play when I have the time almost any survival horror or rpg game. I also play Max Payne, Legacy of Kain, Star Wars, half-life. Basically you name it I probably have played it.

MMO's are dangerous(ex-addict) i want to play wow, but i would get far too involved.

fortunately for me, I know how to moderate my MMO activity. if I've been playing something for more than 4 hours at a time, then I'll take a break, regardless of what I'm doing in-game (unless we're instancing, then I'll wait 'til the end of the instance, then log). =)
it's all about realizing that you have control over your actions.

MMO's arent bad, but I got 2 big problems with most of them:
1. You have to pay monthly fees
2. They get old, fast
To further adress the first one: I refused to get an Xbox back in the day, due to having to pay monthly fees for online play, and I refuse now to buy a game, and have to keep putting money into it, just to keep playing it. No game, I repeat, NO GAME, is worth having to pay a monthly fee for. Regardless of how good a game may be, if it's got a monthly fee, it's not worth my time. (That is, until I find a private server >.>)
And for my second reason: MMO's get old, real fast. You've played one, regardless of the set up or genre, you've played almost all of them. WoW, is no excepction. A friend of mine, is a WoW addict, and has me play a character on his computer. Me, lbeing bad ass with the undead in WC3, chose to make an Undead Warrior. So I went in, played for a few hours, and already I noticed something; it's the same shit over and over again. Do a quest, get a reward, do another quest, get another reward, go explore for awhile, train, go raid a dungeon, do a quest, get a reward, get a mount, ect... it's just repeditive. There was no real challange in the game for me. Might have to do with the class or race, I dunno, its a possibility, but all in all, the game isn't worth me buying, let alone a monthly fee.

how could I forget God of War II? ugh, that game is so awesome it should be illegal! and you get to play as a fish!
