is it true about raiden that u cannot play as normal raiden anymore, only dark raiden you can?

eh? if you put MK1 he'll still be good.
but why does it matter, he has the same moves doesn't it?

Actually, in MK1, he's evil. It wasn't till his story was recannoned in MK2 that he became good.
And yes, Raiden ends his role in the MK Universe (Assuming he is one of the many to be killed off) to end on a bad note.

Spot on! In MK1 Rayden was an evil basterd...but we still luv him!

in my opinion, I actually prefer Raiden as an "evil" character. I've always loved stories of vengeful and angry gods wreaking havoc on towns and their people, so if he can come down and do this in person, then that's a double bonus in my eyes. ^_^

to be honest, i like the good raiden better, because the bad guys have a super bad #ss kickin boss and the good guys needed one too.
