Cinder from the official Midway Forum posts this message:
"Just got an update about MKA Bios.
The Mortal Kombat team is focusing all of its resources towards development of the next Mortal Kombat game for next gen consoles. As, a result no additional MKA Bios are being created.
Cinder"
Looks like the Story for MKA is dead.

Well, if they are neglecting unfinished work, then MK8 better be one hell of a game.
As for the bios,
let the bitching begin. _________________ Very Angry Girls Instigate Negative Attitudes.

Yeah all i can say is Mortal Kombat 8 for xbox 360 better not let me down. I mean it's patethic that they produce a unfinished game in armageddon what im saying for there is it's just stupid to not even have the bios in that game from the start. Not only that other parts of that game felt rushed as well.
I seriously can say armageddon was one of the most dissapointing titles that i bought under the mk title. I admit i was excited when it first came out thinking maybe it be addictive and good but i was wrong. That kreate a fatality type of way they introduced into it played a good part in why i got bored of the game so fast.
Of course im not missing that game now or my ps2 as i have my xbox 360. I have good faith though that mortal kombat 8 probably wont let me down cause Midway is a good company and im sure they'll make mortal kombat 8 the best one ever. I mean it's normal that they slumped and made a not so great game out of armageddon. But every company gets into a slump once and a while. _________________

ALl I have to say is, I all really surprised that fan are shocked at this news...I mean you would have to be on crack to think that Midway was going to release all 64 bios. I did however think there would be a few more. But I think It's more important to get working on MK8 than to waste time on bios. And I REALLY hate it when people quote Ed Boon saying he was going to release all the bios...he just said that in a chatroom not meaning to be taken so literal, ie "all" the bios.

Well, I for one did not expect them to release all 64 bios. I wanted to at least find out Scorpion's tale of events after Deception. I mean come on, folks. For all those hardcore Scorpion fans, like myself, we want to know what Scorpion had to go through before the battle of Armageddon. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

truth be told, I was ticked that they didn't finish but i guess it is time to move on. I wonder if midway will still consider mkar canon?

Well, even though it's incomplete, they should consider it canon, my friend. MK:Ar is the final battle for the majority of the characters and, as we all know, the final chapter of this generation of MK games on the PS2 and XBOX. I believe we've already mentioned the fact that Mortal Kombat 8 will introduce a new storyline and a ton of new characters, with only about 10-15% of the original cast. I hope that the new storyline is not a complete disappointment to us. Midway and the MK Team have a lot to make up for for leaving MK:Ar incomplete, so this better be one hell of a game. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

^yes, they better make up for it in mk8. I was thinking about getting the MK community together to write the remaining bios ourselves and ask midway to make them canon.

Again, may I ask why people are making the assumption that so many characters will get killed off? _________________ Very Angry Girls Instigate Negative Attitudes.

People probably think so many characters were killed off because the title of the game is Armageddon which means the end of the world, I think. I just making an assumption. _________________ i dont have a signature you got a problem with that?

And because Ed Boon said they would be starting off with a clean slate, and kill of many characters. _________________

And I quote from your video:
"there is going to be a big event that's ganna kinda define the destiney for all the Mortal Kombat characters, and when the smoke clears, whoever's still remaining, if anyone's going to be remaining. will go onto the next generation of MK."
Sounds like characters being massively killed off to me. _________________
