Only 2 things I like about MKA:
1:Kreate-a-Kharacter
2: It has all my favorite characters (along with the characters I don't like).
3: I do like the differing and more stage fatalities, especially the one with four different ways to kill your opponent. On this note, I don't know about you but it always seems to me, that you fight on the Tekuin warship. Not ervery battle, but once every ladder.
Everything else sucks bigtime IMO. The KAF, Konquest, racing,1 style and a weapon, short combos. Pretty much I think it is the worst game they ever put out (including MK1 and up) EVERYTHING!!
PS Sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear, but you asked, and I replied. NO offense intended. _________________

The only thing i liked about armageddon when i had it i have to say is that it had all the characters in it well almost since Khameleon was only in the wii one. The rest of it sucked like mentioned.
The Kombat Racing mini game could of been done better but it seemed like they rushed the whole game. I also got to agree that this was the worse game effort that they have ever put out. But here's hoping for a great rebound from midway in there mk8 for xbox 360. _________________

Kreate-a-Kharacter...and I wouldn't even consider that an achievement. _________________ "...don't think it's yours just 'cause you marked it with your urine."

I would say it's a step in the right direction, but not a fully operational add-on. They needed to have more than one KAK per profile, at least two or three. That way you could create more than one fighter, and have different strategies. _________________

I don't really know what is everyone fussing (is that a word?) about. I loathe the haters of MKA. I agree with the fact that it does not bring MK to a whole new level or change things radically but it's an awsome game.
It brings or strenghtens the aerial combat which I find really cool, it brings 62 chars. (I mean the whole bunch!!) in a fighting game, each unique (well, almost if we don't count Shujinko ) , the best Konquest ever and the chance to make your own weirdo...I mean fighter. And then take the fighting online. The graphics are ok (for a ps2 game), the music and overall sound are great and the Krypt full of goodies. Hmmm.... it has blood! (not joking, I mean come on, I played 1 hour of Soul Calibur 3 and that was it... you smack the sucker in the face and stars and flashes come out ?? lame) It has it's new fatality system which could have used a little more work but nice... What more, I ask the nay-sayers....
Seriously, I bought the game twice and that's how much I love it.
Cheers

Come again? Though each are great in their own right, Soul Calibur 3 produces something MK doesn't: nice fluid fighting of pure skill. Again, don't get me wrong, I love MK and was almost litterally raised on it, but one thing that seperates games like Soul Calibur are reliant on your actual skill with your characters fighting style. Games like MK and SF that have special powers add an extra form of strategy, but in my oppinion, drag down the actual fighting element of the game.
Now onto the subject of what I loved about MKA specifically:
The KAF. Though it was strongly laking in a lot of ways, it was a step in the right direction. Finally, MK fans can add their own personal touch to the MK universe.
The fatality system I keep teetering on good and bad. It seriously just depends: the concept is nice, as we're not just seeing the same fatality over and over and over again, but at the same time, I loved the old way where we got nice cinnimatic death and destruction. _________________

Fighter Roster - Hey, sometimes I get in a Kintaro mood - or Shujinko, or even Shinnok. Yeah, I like Shinnok.
Air Kombat - One could get some sweet combos in there.
Kreat-A-Fighter - Customization is kinda fun.
Motor Kombat - It's fun shooting stuff at people who have the nerve to pass you.
And all those things would be even better if they took out Konquest. _________________

Kreate a Fighter-One of the bigger reasons why I bought Armageddon (though I would've gotten it anyway), it just sucks that you get smaller movelists than the characters already on the roster and I could think of an entire list of special moves I wish we could've chosen from. Though, I guess it makes sense how much was put in there, since the roster was so big that there was no way in hell we'd see everyone's specials in there, but still. I also found the actual pieces to be a bit too limited as well, but you could still conjure up some interesting fighters. Kreate a Anything modes tend to lure me in and at least this was a step in the right direction. I hope the Midway team will try putting this feature in (and improving it) later MK games....If you know, we actually get MK games.
The full roster-C'mon, what MK fan wouldn't enjoy having every character from the previous games?
I also liked how many death traps we got with MKA.
Now, getting a bit off-topic here; the things I really didn't like were Kreate a Fatality, Konquest, and Motor Kombat. Kreated fighters can't even perform a decent amount of chains in the fatalities (sword moves and like 2 or 3 transitions) and overall they're just too damn annoying to have to pull off when you win a fight. It had potential to be a really amazing new feature, but it just became to me, an annoying race to enter 1-11 button combinations and watch an odd, dragged-out death. Konquest is just Shaolin Monks rehashed, and I don't mean that the latter was a bad game, but I would've liked something different. Motor Kombat, idk, I haven't really liked many of the minigames in recent MK titles, only the return of Test Your Might in MKDA and the chess game in MKD were worth the time to me.
Oh! I almost forgot the aerial kombat. It just always felt so good knocking a friend (or enemy) into the air with one combo, performing an aerial combo that bounces them off of the arena floor, and then performing yet another aerial combo as they fly back up.
