Well if we're going to go by the movie timeline, then it'd take place a long time before since the Mortal Kombat Tournament is held every 1,000 years. But why Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Reptile are involved, eludes me.

Conquest was a prequel to the first mk movie. Well was gonna be before it was cancelled. It follows "the great" Kung Lao generations before "our" tournamnet was held. Its basically a non-canon description of what happened before mk1. But we don't even get to see up to were Goro defeats him and becomes the new MK champ. _________________

Yup. Nailed it.
And to this day, Im still very upset at the writers for killing off everyone in the last episode they way they did just because it got canned by the network.
It was really foolish and obviously didnt care about the fans. The last episode makes the entire compilation almost meaningless to watch again. You already know they all get bitched slapped to death without even putting up a fight, literally and even ol' Raiden falls in front of SHao Kahn like nothing.
It was definitely a "WTF?!" moment in the MK Conquest time line.
You dont even get to see how most of the important characters die. They just all fall to the ground dead with Shao's warriors surrounding them.
CRAP...
But, all the episodes prior to this horsecrap, was pretty darn entertaining. Its just hard to watch over again knowing all of it was in vain. _________________ MORTAL KOMBAT!!!

Yeah I kinda got put off it but it was supposed to be a dream sequence right? I love the dude playing Shao Kahn though man excellent with his voice....."And I am SHAO KAHN! Konquerer of Realms...and Emperor of OUTWORLD!" Flawless victory for that shit lol
I can't stand seeing Kassanoff's name at the credits anymore the dude just annoyed me. One thing I hate bout the last episode dude is when Shao Kahn holds up the possessions of the fallen warriors......he holds up kung lao's shirt like WTF!? He should hav eheld up the Dragon medal! Yeah a small thing but it brings me piss to a boil lmao _________________
