I don't know, but I do know w/o the tool key kit you can't unlock some buildings.

according to GameFAQs, the Mysterious Key opens a hut in Earthrealm at coordinates B-6. you get the key as a reward from the kid playing hide-and-seek for punching the bully.

You're right about the hiding boy Chib, mysterious key--platinum, but the teaching Mekko a lesson key is a ruby parents hut key.

red key opens:?
blue key opens:?
platinum key opens:
onyx key opens:?
gold key opens
and possibly the green key:?

ok lets make a list:
red key opens: A hut in town by the bridge--400 red koins
blue key opens:A house on the end of the first street in town--250 red koins
platinum key opens: A hut in town--gold koins
onyx key opens:?
gold key opens: A hut on the second street--5 different koins
and possibly the green key:?
This is as much as I know off the top of my head.

I finally found it, cause there's a thread on this somewhere in this forum. But to get it you have to push a chaosrealmer to the edge of the wall and keep talking to him until he pushes you past the wall. I haven't done it yet.

Ok this Krap about MK:Deceptions colored keys / village needs to stop. There are no ultimate hidden secrets, there are no SU's cause people like me go through the game's code,videos,sounds and pictures when the game is released they would have alot of trouble hiding shit in the game. secondly, even if they did find a way to hide it, they would of revealed it to the PLATHORA of fans that sent e-mails to Midway asking about SU's and if there was a Jade key, and what do things like "The Netherealm Key" and "The Ninja Star" do... they do NOTHING.
You know how I know? I sent an e-mail myself to John Vogel asking him about The Netherealm key, and he told me in his owns words nothing, he also told everyone who attended MKO's "fight night" chat back in 2004.
-Ninja star does nothing.
-No jade key.
-You can't re-enter the village after you leave.
-Netherealm key does nothing.
Answered by Midway themselfs:
3. Are there any Super Unlockables?
9. How can I go back to Earthrealm's village? I think I missed a krypt key
11. I have colored keys/ninja stars in my inventory. Can I use these items?
Thats all...case closed...I don't want to see another word mentioned in this thread...seriously guys, if there were secrets, they would of found them by now and they would be in the FAQs on sites like gamefaqs.com
It's ok to speculate but you guys are taking this way to far, did you check the FAQs? When I told you guys there are no SU's did you listen? Did you listen to TMK's moderator ChibiHana? NO you didn't....please dont post anymore Krap like this agian.

TKM,
If you noticed us, when Chibihana said enough, I stopped talking about the colored keys in the secrets of MKD. I started to talk about something else. If you are tired of our/my theory of reentering the town, that's fine, it should have been placed in the key found on dead body topic. It was a theory by me that took on a life of it's own. Not all of us have connections with people who work for Mortal Kombat. Some of us just have each other to try to figure out sercets/stategies.

I hope this doesn't get me banned, disagreeing with you on you chewing us out. In the stopped discussion of reentering the town/colored keys.
PS I read gamefaqs and IGN and got a walkthrough for the konquest from one of them, nowhere does it say anything about colored keys, cameos that give you koins, ninja star, etc.. If you would show me a link to gamefaqs where it explains all of this. Other than what you've linked.

Thats the whole point...no where does it mention this Jade key, people just asumed there was one because there was a silver key,gold key,ruby key and onyx key... the links above are from the Midway site they are available to anyone under "support"
