Movies wern't as good as they could have been. Instead of coming up with their own story directors should really stick with the story that is already there. It really takes the p*** when they change most things that were good in the games story and directors say "Well we have to change it to appeal to a larger audience" ffs the only audience is the video game audience and the people who they bring those movies are meant to be for the fans. I have never heard of a movie based on a book or a real life event being changed to appeal to a larger audience. This is why movies such as Silent Hill were considered better video game movie because the director (mostly) stuck with the original game formula (there were a couple of major changes that bugged me but overall it was mostly Silent Hill). Ok there is also a point that some game wouldn't make good films... so don't make them! Seriously Resident Evil had some pretty solid story telling in all there games and some characters with some good background which were thrown into the sh***er when those films were made. However the thing that always makes me feel a bit better after watching these bad translation is that it could have alway been worse. Uwe Boll could have made it. I think he would be seriously the only one who would make a film based on Pac-Man. I could see the story he would have planned now, On a far and distant planet a civilization is torn apart by four vengeful spirits and after some praying along comes Pacmanus saviour of all that is good and fruity. Ok I'm done ranting now...

I was moreso a fan on Resident Evil 3 and 4, although I never beat either one of the games. The idea of using shotguns, ingrams and grenades were kickass.

im a huge RE fan,i got all the games,i even have books,limited edition books, some figures and jackets and t-shirts of RE, i wasnt impressed with andersons RE movies tho..but RE: Degeneration thats coming out soon looks sweet!

I have loved the games ever since 1996, but I cannot stand the live action movies 
Resident Evil 5 looks like a hell of a game though, the one thing that I found a bit iffy with Resident Evil 4 was it had no real plot development apart from Ada working with Wesker, which we already knew.
