I know I'm a tad late on reporting, but I haven't been online in a fuck's load of a time. I thought I would mention the Simpsons game here on this site because there are a fair amount of Mortal Kombat references. For those of you who have played the game already and, again, I know it's been out for a while, just don't read this. Who cares.
Liu Kang (legal friendly) is actually in the game itself as a generic bad guy. They also have a couple more specific refences in what Kang says, "Fatality" written in blood on a wall, and a --!#$@-- "Moral Kombat : Deceptions" poster.
It seems pointless to report, but being a HUGE Simpsons fan as well as MK fan, I was just about as excited as one person gets. Thought I would mention because I've been an ass and, like most members have been absent. Hope you haven't already played that game, you go out and get it, and love the references.

I got the DS version and you fight a Ryu look alike instead. There are also cameo appearances from Mario and Sonic look alike. Simpsons Game was no where near as good as it should have been though. It was like playing through an extended episode of the television series.

Not your thing, eh? Fair enough. Personally, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I'm glad they had it seem more like an episode instead of and actual game. They always look weird in 3-D and that story lines are always very lame.

I didn't dislike the game I just though it could have been better. Although considering Simpsons games of the past this is the best game since the Arcade Game.
