if you can play as the great kung lao in the mkd because than maybe you could find him in konquest mode that would be soooooooooooo cool

well, unfortunately for all of us, Kung Lao isn't available to play as in Deception. however, Shujinko is a decent substitute. he has both of Kung Lao's unarmed styles from Deadly Alliance.
but if you really wanna play as Kung Lao, you'll have to pick up Deadly Alliance.
