GoW is one of my favorite games of all time, I was stoked when M$ announced the sequel today, It's coming out the same time as MK8 in November oh what a month thats ganna be lol!

Months ago, I played GoW for the 1st time. In all honesty, I found it a little boring. But my main concern is the game play itself. It was quite linear and limiting in terms of world interaction. The save points sucked the most. Every time I got caned (or had to leave the PC for whatever reason, like going away to take a super long dump), I often found myself being too apathetic to redo the same battle scene again. Admittedly I only played the PC version and I haven't bothered to finish the game yet. So take my bitching with a grain of salt. Maybe I finish it once i get a new 500gig hd. Also, I'm not sure how different it is compared to the 360 version. Nice visuals, levels, cut scenes etc. Great sound design too.

Shouldn't think that apart from controls and if that your computer is slow, there wouldn't be much difference. PCs are some of the best gaming machines around if you get the right one.

Hell yeah man! Gears of War II, and MK 8. November's gonna rock! Not only are two of the next greatest hits gonna be released, but I'm gonna be turning 21! Shit man, I'll be playin' MK 8 drunk as hell lol!

actually, our desktop PC is probably better than most people's, I'd be willing to bet... and it's a Vaio. runs every single game we have smooth as butter. it's lovely.
