I like Mortal Kombat : Extinction.
it sounds kinda like a follow-up to armageddon.
and the rumor of almost all the characters are going to be cut so its pretty fitting, right?

Extinction would not be a good follow-up to Armageddon. One simple reason, that is because Armageddon and Extinction are practically alike. After Armageddon, the characters who die are extinct anyways.

Well, one of the titles I had in mind before MK:Armageddon was officially named was MK:Apocalypse.
Other titles I think could word are:
Mortal Kombat 8 (Simple)
Mortal Kombat: The New Testament
Mortal Kombat: Reborn
Mortal Kombat: Koagulation (Boiling blood, with the "K")
Mortal Kombat: A New Beginning
Mortal Kombat: The Next Generation
Mortal Kombat: Oblivion
Mortal Kombat: Unreal (Since it's being made with the Unreal Engine 3)
Mortal Kombat: Revenge
Mortal Kombat: Vengeance (Since it didn't get used for Deadly Alliance)
I could probably go on, but that should get the juices flowing for some of you...

I really gave this matter a lot of tought but they should let it simple as in MK8. No offense Neomic2004 but MK:Oblivion is just hilarious (The elder scrolls : Oblivion ?!?!) and it's not about you're choice of titles but any word put after mortal kombat (besides deception and deadly alliance) is kinda ridiculous. Mk: A new beginning was so over-used on all mk forums and I personally don't like it because it's pointing the obvious. The new testament is not mk related, Unreal would be a real hit under the belt and Vengeance is the only title that would "click". But I hope they stick with the plain MK8.

Yea, after I typed Oblivion, I laughed myself... I was basically just typing the first things that came to my mind.
I like 'Vengeance' the most though, because more than likely one of these characters if going to be out to "avenge" someone from the previous games (probably a main character). I realize that Acclaim has stated "An all new storyline", but it's gotta stem from somewhere.
