I'm wondering who would be a great boss for MK8? There are a lot of characters to choose from, so go vote on the poll and leave a reply of why you would like for that character to become Main Boss/Emporer.

this may sound cliché coming from the girl of the group, but I'd like to see a strong female boss. I'd also really like for the MK team to kinda break loose from their good and evil archetypes by making this final boss a gray character in terms of his/her intentions and desires.
I think it would make things much more interesting.

My bad! I should of had put that up on the poll. I wasn't thinking of having a female as boss at the time, I'm sorry. It could might happen tho in MK8, who knows with Ed Boon and Co.

i dont think that any used character will return to the throne, but i agree with chibi, not only a woman, but someone that his/her/its goal not be the power or the control of anything, but other ideas to be on top

I want a new boss since this game will be on the next-gen consoles. And I also support the idea of a female boss.
There haven´t been many female end bosses in fighting games. Only I can think of is Mizuki from Samurai Showdown 2.

Yeah i voted for others meaning i'd go with the majority of people who say a female boss. A Female Boss would be great and a new fresh feeling way of making it up to the point where you have to face a female boss. It's just a great idea that mortal kombat for next gen can do and make the game feel a bit different at the boss change.

I feel though as if Quan Chi needs to become boss, even though he dies in many Armageddon endings(Sareena). In scorpion's ending he stole his son,(?) confusing but true.

Hey, Taven92. Welcome.
I'm not a moderator here, but I'd like to let you know that double-posting is against the rules here.
A new boss? What if there was a fighter made of rock? He/She'd throw rocks at you - big rocks, cause tremors and shoot lava. If the team brings back individual fatalities, this fighter could beat its victim down, stand over them and turn into a pool of lava, consuming the victim. Then it can re-solidify and we'd see a mess of burned flesh and bone. Oh, and, of course, the victim would scream bloody fatality.

I would like to see an evil raiden as a boss I think that would be great
and they could develop his story some more.
But I also like the idea of a female boss BUT if they went the route
of a female boss I would hope that they not make her look like a
sleazy tramp 
I think it would take away from her strong boss character feel.

Evil Raiden is a good concept but I´d rather have a brand new boss. Or 2 new bosses. One cool subboss kinda like the Shokan´s but more brutal.

Indeed, a Sub-Boss is also needed.
But I would rather see a "normal" Sub-Boss and not
a Motaro or Goro, Perhaps Raiden could be the Sub-Boss to
a even more evil boss 
I am kinda hopein 85-95% of MK8 will be new, and that includes
losing the 4 armed wonders. (dont get me wrong, I still love em, its
just MK needs to get new, not just pump out sequels)
I just hope for the best, I know I will be getting the game
no matter what.

A female boss would be pretty interesting. I for one would see this as something different, especially for a new generation of Mortal Kombat.
