I thought that Ermac should be there since he's one of the most interesting characters in the recent games. Especially in Deception where he became the most interesting. Kung Lao, since he's a personal fav.
So how do you guys think that they should keep the balance between old and new chars? I think out of 25-30 about 7old ones should return.

idk about new characters they come up w/ some really stupid characters but really good characters at that idk ill have 2 get back 2 yall on that

personally, i really liked the return of ermac in mkd, he looked so cool andhis moves were too, i will be glad if he survives, but i dont make me too much hope to that.
i dont have many hated characters, but i dont be sad if shujinko, darrius and dairou show their faces again

Yeah, Ermac's design was awesome. Ermac along with Scorpion had the best redesigns throughout the 3D games.

I actually liked the MKD alt costume more than his primary, I'm probably the only one but I liked it because it made him look like the wise and old Kung Fu master. It made me think about how Subby would look like in an old Kung Fu movie and I like old Kung Fu movies  .
The one with the worst design must be Reptile, I know his look is supposed to contradict to his story but still, it looked ugly in MK4 & MKDA. I think if he returns his should have a look that is similair to Ermac's mask, and he should look human with maybe lizard eyes and his costume should look similair to his MKSM look. That'd be sweet.

I would agree with you, his MKD alt costume was great!
It is one of my all time fav Subby costumes, it kinda gave you
at "out side the box" look at Subby.

What if Subby was drastically transformed into a pure ice transparent figure character? While as Subby, you can see the vapors circulating throughout him. He would then be a true ice god, lol.
Just for Subby fans, it's most likely that he will return as himself and not in anyother form.

I wouldn't wanna see him in any other form. An MKD alt costume direction would be satisfying.

What I want:
Completely new cast of characters. As in no Scorpion, no Sub-Zero
Fatalities, Animalities, Brutalities.
A more realistic approach to the fighting , instead of special moves (they are over used)
A huge difference with each character, variety.
Create a character could work.
I would also like to see more fighting styles, I was very impressed with MK:DA-Armageddon with the use of actual martial art styles.
Balance
Maybe have a select few characters that specialize in a weapon style, ex. Sai, Bo staff, Katana, but with better texture. Hard to explain, because the weapons in DA-Armageddon just seemed poorly animated. I just think it would be sweet if they could focus all the animation on the weapon if a character is going to have one.
Possibly a return of havik. He seems to fit the direction this next MK is going, as far as the "darker" nature. If they do decide to bring back an old character though, I would want them to look completely different and fitting with this installment.
