I heard that the PS3 can play PS2 games, is this true? If so, how do I play them?

They can play PS2 games but it depends on which version of the PS3 you got. Do you have the earlier seriously expensive version that had all extras. Or did you get the later not as expensive but still a stretch of the pockets version which didn't have as much on it (including the backwards compatibility which sucks cause I would have got the cheaper one with the backwards compatibility)?

To make sense of what he jsut said:
Yes and no.
the 40gig PS3 can play PS1 games, but not PS2, and comes at $400. The 80gig PS3 can play all PS family games, and comes in at $500. But as long as you still have your PS2, the 40gig is the better deal; sure less space, but it saves you $100, which you can put towards games and equipment, and I hear there will be hardware upgrades comming out where you can buy and add on an extra 130 gigs of data for your PS3.
