So many theories damn twenty-four days is too long to wait. Well my idea is that the new boss is the Noob/Sub-Zero merger. It has to be one of the ninjas anyway, so many people became gods at the end of MKA that its hard to choose but I just have a feeling for Noob-Zero.

just on the same note as my last theory,
with the Rhino,Ardvark,Gorilla,Elephant = RAGE
is there any character/s that would fit this? the only characters i felt had the most rage would be the sub/scorp feud ... maybe with raidens current standing it could be his rage,hence the lighting aswell on the title,i dont know for sure,just throwin ideas

I really don't want to be rude or anythin but I think Ed Boon is laughing his eyebrows off. There is no relevance in those symbols. I really think he's posting random stuff. When the game will come, it will come with a blast and I kno it'll be great. I for one, don't have to think about the meanings of noob.com because even when the game will be released it will arrive in 2009 where I live. I dunno if that's a good or bad thing. (psst. I can still find MK:DA and Deceptions in shops )  .. anyway... My opinion is that Ed Boon is playing with all of you/us (especially with MKO forumers)

Hm, well, is it a Gorilla or a Chimpanzee? On the FAQ about the animalities it said it was a Cimpanzee, but it's so easy to get monkey species confused that it might be a gorilla, I'm not sure 
Also Booboo that's HIGHLY debatable. I mean, IF Boon is the owner of Noob.com (I've always been sketchy as to if he's really the owner and it's not some punk playing tricks on us), this ISN'T just coincidence. How is it JUST COINCIDENCE that all of the animals used correspond to an animality from MKT? There are thousands of animals, so why those four? It's too neat to just be coincidence

i am positive its a gorilla, chimps have more of a human fleshy colour to there skin under the dark fur,and a baboon if thats what you mean has an entirely different skull and build

*sigh* every time a MK fan mentions a 'feud' between Scorpion and Sub-Zero, it bugs me. Even in Armageddon their fight was troublesome. The one thing everyone (Including the MK staff) seems to forget is story-wise, Scorpion is suppose to be the guardian of Sub-Zero, and to have his back. The feud would be Scorpion and Noob Saibot (The elder brother of Sub-Zero which we all knew in MK1 and Mythologies as Sub-Zero) Stop confusing the two brothers and get the story straight...
Anyways, It's a gorrilla, so i think the rage and Reptile ideas are kinda out of place. Any other ideas?

someone said that all of the animals pictured were used for animalities, right?
maybe it's a clue that the characters who used those animalities will be included in the next game.
or maybe Ed really is screwing with our minds. either way... we're getting good conversation out of it, eh guys? =)

Ok, first of all I would like to say that the my following statements are not meant to be rude or made to offend any of you here. I just read the MKO forums and was shocked to see what ideas idiotic kids came up with.
My take on the noob.com frenzy is that Ed Boon updates the site with random stuff that pops into his head. So it's the moon and the earth? What's the big deal? then he updates it with the actual distance between the two. Then he gets bored and updates it with some pair of eyes (maybe his, maybe Vogels).
Then changes the distance with a yellow-shock-thingy. Then the animals.
I've seen so many takes on the animals that I'm just sick of it. The most idiotic idea is that mk8 is gonna be a stupid crossover between mk and primal rage. WHY? From where, that idea? because there are animals on the site. Jeeez. I think it's pretty clear to us, and even Boon stated in the first news regarding MK8 that is gonna be DARK,GRITTY, AND SERIOUS!
I thought it was pretty clear also that the animality period was over too.
The most comforting idea is that the names of the animals actually spell the new mk title or whatever. And that is RAGE. Some said it could be a new option, a rage meter (altough, I'm pretty sure every fighter is filled with rage because I don't think Scorp will fight, say ... Quan chi out of boredom).
I think speculating about the updates on noob.com is a bad idea, and we should all wait patiently the magic day.
That was my review on what really makes me pissed regarding little mk noobs from MKO. Don't go there....really, don't. (I have my spare time
 )
I think the game will be called Mortal Kombat : Keep your eyes on the animals, because answers about the moon and earth will enRAGE you untill you burst into yellow-shock-beams.

I don't want to start anything either but I'm personally keeping my head on straight! I'm not even sure my ideas are right!
I'm only saying that maybe the animals correspond to characters that are now VERY important to the game. i.e. First Tiers or characters that the story lines might revolve around.
That's all I'm saying, I know it's too early to speculate

Yeah and i wasn't saying it's for sure the animals in the site meant the animalites would be back for sure i just stated maybe the reason for them being there was there thinking of bringing them back and i said it be cool if the idea from me was right.
Cause seriously animalites people can't be sick of cause they barerly were ever in a mk game they only were in mk3 and umk3 and of course trilogy.
But with the graphics the xbox 360 has they could make a thing like animality look so real like instead of the way they used to look animated in the older arcade games for example if they bring cyrax back this time his animality of a shark could look much more real and cooler.

well, i enjoy so much speculating, i do that for fn, but i dont burn all my nerves trying to adivine boon new plan, maybe the ones that take that very seriously should relax .
However, all the ideas posted here are very well, they arent too crazy, and maybe more than one could be real, but only time will tell the truth, so.. keep speculating!!!
