I was talking about present Kung Lao. That revenge story would be really sweet, along with a new cool design similair to what I mentioned would make KL more badass than ever. That would make Quan Chi and/or Shang Tsung return. I like them both but a story with Shang would make it more personal, since Tsung has always been Liu's nemesis. By the way, loved his primary MKDA costume, gave us a different look on KL.

That costume was kool. With what you said should be his primary costume, you think his primary costume in MKDA should be his alternate costume in MK8? I'd think it would be a kool alternate.

Yup that'd be a nice set of costumes. I really like the MKDA alt, it was about time they showed him like that. And he looked like and actor from a Shaw Brothers movie. One thing I really hope they avoid is characters that wear sunglasses during fight. It looks awful especially when they did it to Kung Lao.

maybe multiple costumes could be downloaded for the game, it would be very cool

I'd be happy with downloadable content. A customization mode would also be sweet. I think the mode at this moment is the best in Virtua Fighter5.

I was right when I said that TangLung777 was talking about the present Kung Lao!
Kung Lao was my fave charater in MK2/MK3. He was also cool in the other games that he was in. If he return, I want him to have the Buzzsaw Fatality from MKSM along with his 5pt Decapitation. However I know if the character specific fatalities return, they could be all new.

Downloadable content? Now you're speaking my language!
That would be awesome! Different ways to customize your characters, Never before seen custom fatalities, and all that other good stuff.

I have a question; If a character never really dies in a Mortal Kombat game, as stated by the mortal kombat team, what will happen to all those characters who died in Armageddon? those characters can be brought back, right? I feel that mortal kombat has seen its last days. I think that the tournament mk games are ruined or over. only adventure mk games should be made. what do you guys think?

It's not true that a character is never really supposed to die in MK. Take a look at Johhny Cage. He died during the events of MK3, but during MKT, Raiden brought him back to life, but after MKT, he died again, but during MK4, Raiden brought him back for good, where once again, he died during the ending events of MK:DA. He was brought back to serve Onaga, but after the events of MK:D, he was good again. After MK: Armageddon, I don't think theres a force great enough to bring back all who perished... Unless Midway decides to think that what they are doing may be the end of MK as we know it, and say that no one really died. Just got really badly injured. LOL. Well, I dunno about that, but still.

Keep in mind there were three options for Taven if he had claimed the power of Blaze. I believe the third option is to simply strip all the warriors of their abilities and powers, and resetting the events that lead up to Armageddon. It's a stretch, but it's plausible.

Yes it is, and it could very well be what truly happens, but we won't know for sure until the time comes.

What I could infer from what Delia and Argus had idealized, the first option was to let them all live (Taven), the second to destroy them all (Daegon), and the third, mutated option was to destroy half. The weaker side, as it were. And you bet your ass the MK Krew's going to stick by that decision, and Stryker and those other not-so-popular are massacred for good.
Sorry Vain...there's just no hope for him...
I suppose I should place an opinion on the subject...of course this would be relating more toward a post MKvDC game. It's natural for MK to kill off characters and bring them back frequently to see how they do, or if their story fits well. Deciding to destroy half and losing the need to have a resurrection festival is a very decent idea and I support it, with remorse. I will miss certain characters that I like but no one else does. Other than personal reasons, it's the first really good idea the MK Krew has come up with in a while.

But, following the first part of your post, If the three choices were split between Rain, Deagon, and Taven, if the third option was done, then it'd mean Rain would be hanging around, unless he killed himself with his own option.

Maybe...but I don't think there's anyone that likes Rain...
...anyway, Rain doesn't have any power. Obviously Delia and Argus were like 'hell, we had one mistake, screw him, let's concentrate on the other two'.
Nah, Rain's cool, he just had massacred dialogue in Geddon.

Rain is actually a cool character, but what sucks is that the team really put him in all the wrong places. He started out as a placeholder in UMK3 which pissed off people because you couldn't play as him. Later, he came out in MK Trilogy with all these Prince references and weak story. Since then, he is only referenced in a joking way. And then he finally re-appears in Armageddon just because it's a game that needs every past character playable. But even in Konquest, it's just a big joke. They made him a pissed off bastard child who is still just a Prince joke.
