Post your favorite movie directors.
Here are some of mine in no order.
John Woo(his Hong Kong work and Face/Off), John Carpenter, John Cameron, Akira Kurosawa, Ridley Scott, Ringo Lam, Chang Cheh, Chan Wook Park among many others. I tried to keep it short.

oh lawd, is that some original content?
anyway, some of my favorite directors are Tim Burton (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeny Todd), the Wachowski brothers (The Matrix Trilogy, V for Vendetta), Wes Craven (Nightmare on Elm Street Scream Trilogy), Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins and the upcoming sequel, The Dark Knight)... that's all I can think of at the moment.
nice job coming up with something a little more original for the forum, TangLung777. =)

Well, the first place really goes to tim burton, a great director with no one movie bad.
Also i like Alfred Hitchcock, he did a great job and he hauned a generation

I love a whole bunch of directors like Ridley Scott, P.Jackson, Nolan, Yimou Zhang, and even Scorsese or Lucas but my absolute favourite who is waaay above everyone has got to be Tim Burton. No director is as imaginative and crazy as he is and I love his works for the simple fact that it just clicks with my imagination. Also, but this is a little bit off-topic, J.Depp is my favourite actor and liked him since I first saw E.Scissorhands when I was a little child. He has evolved really great. (in terms of acting cause Imma boy)
