Why Shouldn't kitana cyrax and sektor and last of all rain not return too.
I mean cyrax and sektor haven't been in all that many games so theres a good reason for them.
Same with rain. Sure kitana has been in alot of them but she's like an awesome female ninja fighter not saying that just because she's my favorite female fighter but she actually made mortal kombat more fun when they introduced her first in mortal kombat 2. Mileena would be also sweet if they brought her back i know Chibihana would like that alot hehe.  |
Those character's are not interesting enough for me anymore. The MK Team/Midway cannot do really that much with them..... really! I'd rather see others return, over them.

yes, i like all ninjas, ther would be cool seeing them again, specially kitana but i also like jade.
if they all return, theres no other thing that i wish.

Most definetly, Ashrah should return!
This came from Mortal-Kombat.org, "A new character is a woman who can bend light around her and look transparent like predator. I can’t remember more on her but she might be sonia".
In my mind, I think it might be Ashrah. The reason ( and I know that most of the MKA endings are not canon)is because if you read her ending, it states this *The power of Blaze purified Ashrah completely; she was transformed into a being of divine light*.
So, Ashrah a being of divine light= able to bend light. Just my theory.

i heard that spoilers too, but i dont like to post them, but now that these are known, i must put my opinion.
Ashrah returning would be nice, in fact i liked her suit, a very anti-slut character  but i must say that she is probably my fav from deception, it would be a nice theory, seeing she purge darkness
however, the sonya possibility is too, i dont remember where, but i read something about sonya father and brother, but i think that she will be back,and in her deception card, boon mentioned she was definitely in another mk game.
two womans, only one, any will make me happy

I don't really think that Sonya could portray the role of bending light. They could if they want but, really they just can't take her from what she's good at and throw something new down on her. That is why I think it's going to be Ashrah that bends light around herself (MKA Ending). Yet, Sonya is a possible returning character. She's said to be Boon's "fave" female character.

i also heard about a 30 minutes video, a sumo wrestler or monk, a fisherman and a eat drink minigame, but only in 17 hours we have answers.
Or maybe the countdown itself is for promoting mk8 more and nothing of information will be revealed

I have heard/read the same information. I just hope neither of those characters are joke characters somewhat around the lines of Bo Rai Cho/Mokap. Don't get me wrong, I like Bo along with his moveset. His fatalities were wrong! Mokap was just totally wrong, besides the fact he was credited towards Carlos Pesina.
The 30min video sounds cool. But I'm wondering when it will air on t.v and on what station? I don't want to miss it!
I'm not really a mini-game fan, except for the Tetris style mini from MKD...that was cool. Test Your Might was awesome too!
I am so damned hyped about this whole thing!
