ME i have a x-box and ps2 and getting th GC for x-mas ,well i better or im getting a new gf lol  jk Anyways im getting it for the x-box ,cause i think it will be a bit better.What sys r all u getting it on ?and y?

MK:Da will look the best on Xbox and the worst on PS2... So I'll buy it for xbox, which I allready have

Let me try to lay it all out for ya. PS2 is going to graphically be the worst version. Now they might try to make up for that with extra features but you never know.
GC should load significantly faster from them all. GC should be graphically a small step behind Xbox. However, they could some of those neato graphic features out of GC to put it on par with XBox. But GC has the smallest disk storage space. It's possible they could cut a character or two, a level or two. Oh yeah, and you are going to have to get another controller for GC, the d-pad is way to small for MK.
XBox should have the best graphics, already has a decent MK controller, and seems the most likely to have additional features.
But I could be wrong about a lot of all that, and there are a lot factors. If I had all systems I would wait until after launch to make a purchase. Then you will have a better idea about graphics and features of each system. Of course everyone will still claim that their console's version is the best, that's a given.

*Speaking on behalf of all PS2 owners* Why the heck is the PS2 going to have the worst graphics? You have no clue what its going to look like! Last I new PS2 had some of the best graphical games over the xbox so I think before you jump to conclusions you should see what it looks like when they come out.

Well, it really doesnt matter what system I get it on, either PS2 or GC.. but there is nothing to worry about because the game will have the same thing on all 3 system, I dont know about GBA, but I have read things about the game and ask ED Boon on MK5.org about the PS2, X-Box and GC version of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance... about is there going to be anything different on every system, you know like different codes, characters and ect... and he simply replied "No, all 3 systems, ps2, x-box and gc will be just the same nothing new on them.."..
So it really doesnt matter to me at all, cause I will see the same result on PS2 and GC..

Well the whole post was jumping to conclusions really. Just trying to give the guy an idea of what could happen given the different system's strenghts.
But I think I saw some MKDA screenshots that looked worse than the XBox.

I own PS2. PS2 currently has the better games in general. X-Box is CAPABLE of producing more powerful graphics than PS2 - it's a fact. The question is: will the developers make the game look differently on the two systems or they will be identical. I'm buying an XBox anyway since it'll have some nice exclusive games. Having PS2 and an X-Box, you have all you can need. It's a good thing to be able to get the best version of some common games such as MKDA and other.

Darth Goro - I wasnt aiming my post at you by all means...or anyone for that fact. The post was aimed for anyone who says that Mortal Kombat DA is just going to be good on the x-box. Truthfuly I think its gonna be pretty much the same on all three systems. I am sorry if anyone took my post in a negative way please note that is not how it is sosposed to be taken.

Personaly i think the GameCube is a better system than the XBOX. So ill be getting this version first.

That's odd. For me - the Gamecube is the worst of the three. I have both PS2 and X-Box and most certainly will be getting MKDA for this last one. I have a friend who's little brother happens to own a Gamecube, I had opportunity to experience it ... can't say I was impressed. Then again, he only had the Luigi's Mansion game - he's a 6 year old kid, so, no RE ...

well i have seen over 90 screenshots for differnt systems. chracters fight seens fatalityes and crap like that, the gamecube version of the game when trying to look at the fighters face or at a specific peice of clothing when not up close is very blury, ps2 and x-box are basically almost the exact same graphic wise,...but x-box ( for this game ) has a VERY SLIGHT advantage over ps2, and yes i will be getting it for ps2

I'm getting it for the X-box just because I know it'll run better, I don't see how PS2's graphics could be "as" good when you comparing a Geforce 3 to whatever PS2 is using. Plus the X-box has the big arcade style controller that's waiting for a game just like this.  I just wished the buttons weren't angled, WHY DO THEY ALWAYS ANGLE STUFF, GEEZ!

Leave it to a bunch of 13 year olds. Another chill thread, transformed, without fail into, "Console Warz 5000."
Fact: I own a PS2.
Fact: I own an X Box.
Fact: PS2 has manny manny manny more games then X Box.
Fact: X Box is a more powerful machine. Period. It has noticeably better
graphix and sound, especially if you have a big flat screen Sony like I do . It's a whole differen't experience altogether when playing the X Box.
Fact: PS2 is cheaper then X Box, because the PS2 is ready to go right away with no hidden costs. If you wan't to use the X Box's DVD player for example, you have to pay for an attachment.
Fact: You can't go wrong no matter what system you pick. There is no "perfect" system. They all have strengths and weaknesses. I know what I prefer, but that's my business
I spoke with Midway about how the games will differ on all the consoles. This was their official reply:
Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance will be identical on all of the consoles as far as added features are concerned. The graphic's however will be slightly better on the X Box and Game Cube, then those present on the Playstation 2.
