I dunno. But it's kind of redundant of Boon to put that in Noob.com. We saw the blood in the teaser right? Let's see what the next hint is.

In all honesty I am getting tiresome with Boon's cryptic messages. They are fun until a game is announced but once that is done you should just give the details.

If you highlight the whole page there's some blacked-out text that reads "In case you were wondering..."
This is just Boon telling us that despite teaming up with DC, this won't be a kiddies game.
Although saying that, I'd much prefer a message that said "There will be fatalities"

Yeah but as TangLung already said we saw blood in the trailer, we want to know the status on fatalities.

Oh, fatalities are a guarenteed no.
Why you ask that I'm so certain? In one of the interviews boon stated that they wanted to be a T rating that's extremely close to an M, but not an M. There will be blood, gore, violence, but fatalities would automatically put it to an M. This is a nono. If anything, it's going to be at most a neck crack move, but not much more then that

MK is quite well known for it's ludicrous amount of blood. It's not meant to be realistic but comical in a way. It's just one of the many little things that makes MK what it is.
It's a real shame it will be toned down, but at least things will seem somewhat more 'realistic'.

Oh please, don't play the "realistic" card. Video games such as MK have alway been about over the top gore, its what got it noticed in the first place. A turn around on policy is what has pissed me off so much, I wouldn't care so much about Batman and Superman if I could rip their fing spines out. If you want realism then try a cage fighting game or boxing game. Seriously in a game were a guy can shoot fire balls out of their hands realism is not really going to be high anyway.
