Dude you completely ripped into that game. Although I think you are being a little harsh, Nintendo did have an image of a family company they wanted to up-keep and well thought that families would rather buy a toned down version that everyone would want to play. They got it wrong and people rather wanted to play gory version. We should be thankful really cause since then Nintendo have allowed violent games to gradually get into their lists. Although they are struggling to still shake off the family image today which is unfair. By the way I played this the other day and couldn't really find that many bugs when playing through it, maybe cause I have one of the later releases? _________________ Yippie Ki Yay

lulz, Carona, my mom's favorite booze. But I will agree with you on some points. The arcade version was so much better, but like the others have said, what do you expect for a family console. Though, where does this debate sound familular? *cough*MK vs DC*cough* _________________

This is the first version of MK that I ever played and I sucked ridiculously, unfortunate I guess. I guess my friend had more luck, his first version was MKII on Genesis. Great review as usual.

This game is sooooo bad, it makes MK Advance look good.
At least MK Advance had blood.
Not trying to be mean to those who liked the SNES version of this game, but I'm just saying, this game was an insult to the MK name as was MK Advance and deserves to go back to the 8th circle of hell to once again be with the lesser demons that forged it. _________________ YOU HAVE FOUND ME! The graphics and audio of MK1 for SNES were great. The biggest problem was the control. The fact that you could easily tap Up, Up and not have the character jump was just too bad. It made fatalities easier, but fatalities lost their flair about 5 minutes in. _________________ UltimateMK.com - The ULTIMATE Source of Kompetitive Mortal Kombat Information

Sorry but I have to disagree. While the SNES version wasn't very good at all for an MK game, MK Advance was just beyond shit. It was so much less playable than the SNES version. x_X
