All this did was make my stomache turn again...
No fatalities, no weapons, no multiple fighting styles no new kharacters.. and im sure no returning play modes like in the last games. The man went backwards. All we have to look forward to is the novelty of watching sub zero fighting batman which honestly, already got old from watching the trailers over and over.
Sigh... And last time he said he supposedly had wanted to do game crossovers since MK3. This time he said since MK4.
And he also mentioned that he was approached with the idea of DC universe. So what is the real deal here. Who went to who?
Well, i guess that doesnt even matter.  _________________ MORTAL KOMBAT!!!

Well, I can be satisfied with finishing moves that are more flashy martial arts rather then focusing on pure gore. Ever play tech romancer for the dreamcast? It had finishing moves which had no blood, they were literally a cinematic of your character completely owning the opponent, be ia a nasty physical beatdown or a power-rangers style hyper one shot.
I can see the MK characters doing that, and I'd love it!
I personally found brutalities to be a lot more awesome in the long run, just this faster faster beating of the opponent with an endless barrage of punches and kicks.

OH!
Another good example of how a finishing move could be severely brutal but not gory?
Play the Kinnikuman games..Here is a link to one character's various finishing moves.

If you've seen the other interviews you will know what he says here too, willro. 20 chars, the different fighting mechanics in the game like free fall and klose kombat. Also no weapons and fighting styles. Another interesting thing he hasn't said before is that he and the team worked about 8 months with MK8 before the DC idea came up.
Man he should really say something new.

I expected the no style branching and weapons. I mean, they are trying to stick to everyones character, could you see Superman using a set weapon style? What would he have, a car that he swings around like a mace?
And Dane, not a huge issue man, but try and edit your previous post vs. making a double post. _________________
