That's what I though Master Chief was called until I found out who he actually was. I knew of Halo, but didn't know the characters because there's no way in hell I would play a game like that. So I made a joke out of it all and now I call him Master Chef, because Master Chief is such a stupid name.

Well, his real name is John, but considering he's been 'legally dead' for 10+ years (kidnapped and replaced with a 'flash-clone' which died a year later), he goes by his codename 'Spartan-117', or his rank of 'Master Chief Petty Officer'.
Everyone just calls him by his rank, shortened.
Hence the name...

Since then nobody even MENTIONED them, everybody mentioned only third party members, and all of the third party members have their own party, so by now we're on the freakin' 28th party, and it's still unknown if it's gonna be Fujin or Raiden...
