where in the hell did you guys get that idea? He is nowhere to be seen in the Adema video, I watched it like 4 times and you can barely even see the person whose soul is being stolen, and on top of that, the soul is transfered to one of the troops, not Shao Khan. Trust me, I wish Liu Kang was gone, but that's not him.

right but one of the MKDA sites said that the video shows Liu Kang's demise. Sure, he's gone, but I doubt he's DEAD. Nonetheless, that would be awesome motivation to kick Shang Tsung and Quan Chi's asses for offing one of the biggest heros in the series (though he was cheap as hell and i personally disliked him, except for his kickass fatalities)

Lui Kang is dead, he didnt die in the Adema video though he gets killed by Scorpion in the beginning of MK:DA...

Don't listen to him, we don't know who kills Liu. Dude, stop spreading false rumors. Anyways, last October's Game Informer had an interview with Ed Boon, co-creator of the series, and he said that Liu Kang dies at the beginning of the game. It didn't say 1st video, it's just a bunch of people assuming things. We don't know how he dies or who kills him, but he does die. End of story.

well if scorpion killed Liu Kang, that would totally put him over as one of the 1st rate bad guys like Shang Tsung and Quan Chi....but wait...scorpion IS fighting Quan Chi. So why would it be scorpion? I have to admit, starting the game off with such a huge twist as LK getting killed, sounds like this game is gonna have a very dramatic story behind it

Nobody knows anything at this point, or very few people. I am sure that we are all on the edge of our seats just waiting to rip the shrink wrap off the game, pop it in and just play for hours. And I like nothing more then hearing new information leak out, but what I do hate is --!#$@-- ass rumors. If you are gonna say that Scorpion kills liu kang then you better have some good sources to back it up, if not then stop spreading a ridiculsy dumb rumor.

I've heard(could be false though)that Drahmin would be the one killing Kang.If you ask me,it would be fun.But i would prefer Moloch.

I don't see what Scorpion's motivation would be to kill Lui. So i'm sure it's not him. It might even be Shao Kahn himself that kills Kang. That makes sense to me.

I see Moloch or Drahmin killing Kang.That would be the best way to introduce them.Better yet,both Moloch and Drahmin should Kang,in a slow,violent and sadistic way.
