I checked these out a few moments ago. Amazingly done renders, though I was hoping for more character renders then two stage renders. _________________

I must say while the whole DC-MK thing still bugs me, I'm pretty damn impressed with what they have to show. The Metropolis render is stunningly good. Stick that in a newpaper and I guarantee it would freak a lot of people out. _________________

the only thing that bothered me about the Metropolis render was the fact that the speed limit sign was most definitely NOT American, which I thought was weird. isn't Metropolis supposed to be your stereotypical American city? _________________ Nikki: your friendly neighborhood moderator. ^_^

Wait, what speed limit sign? Either my eye sight is worse then it was (very likely), or I just don't see any speed limit sign in there at all. _________________

it's down right below the street light on the left side of the render. it's the round, white sign with red around the edge with a blue 40 in the middle. I don't know about other countries, but in Japan, that's what the speed limit signs look like. _________________ Nikki: your friendly neighborhood moderator. ^_^

Oh that thing. i didn't know that was a speed limit sign. O.o I guess you have a point then. Maybe they just through that in there because it's quicker then doing a normal sign? _________________

I think the arenas look really nice. Hope they look like nice in gameplay as well. I wanted to see fighter renders but this was cool too.

It's two UFC fighters. Saw it in Midway boards I think, they probably added it as an easter egg or something. I thought the one to the right was Baraka, since he had spikes on the head.
Here's the UFC pic, compare and you'll see.

A little nerdtabulous trivia. Metropolis and Gotham City are two fictitious cities/worlds as we all know it, thus any real nation having the freedom to convert a few things to fit the criteria of their actual life style vs a dominant or actual city so audiences can relate to accordingly.
On some occasions, even Japan's Spiderman's origin were actually established in Japan and not in NY city too just so that japanese writers/atists could have an easier time putting their books together and perhaps so readers can easily relate to it as well.
I'm sure that our US release will have the usual Gotham and Metro characteristics. It could very well be different for other countries.
BTW, those arena renders kill. _________________ MORTAL KOMBAT!!!

I agree with DarkSpectre.
I think the cities will be designed to look like they can fit in any big city, not just in the US. _________________ Very Angry Girls Instigate Negative Attitudes.
