I know many people think petitions are lame, but hopefully this one will work.
This petition is to get Gamespy to fix their server. People are getting disconnected from not only games in progress, but even from the lobby. Tonight, my first 5 fights were disconnected in a row. Aside from that, I got many more disconnections, as did everyone else. These problems began over a year ago.
There's also that "press start" glitch at the lobby that causes the lobby to freeze on you. A rare occurance but still a nuisance.
Another thing is Gamesharks, Codebreakers, and Action Replay. I noticed a while back, that with MKD, they updated it, causing cheat device users to have their statistics revert back to 0/0. I'd like to see that update return for MK:A.
How about it? Will you sign your name to this petition? I know it's probably lame, but it's not entirely a worthless idea. If there's a chance, however small, that this will work, wouldn't you want it to? Wouldn't you want to help? Any signatures will be greatly appreciated.
I'll the post the link to this petition at gamespy forums after we get a good amout of signatures. I'll also create this topic at more MK sites and link them as well. So far This petition is on MKC, MKO, and here at TMK.
Remember, this isn't for me, this isn't for you, this is for everyone who enjoys playing MK:A online.

I'm sorry you want a code that resets your win/loss count? Why? That is really poor when you can't deal with the record you get handed. Only those that get completly wooped all the time would want a code like that. I don't think you're petiotion is stupid it's just that you have to pick your fights. If you think about it MKA has been out for what a couple of years now and updates are made all the time until a game does not hold popularity anymore. It just takes time for them to be implemented (fixing a problem can cause a bigger one ect).

What are you on?
If you read what I what I wrote, instead of skimming through it and making assumptions and judgements like a jackass, you would know I wanted them to bring back the UPDATE from MKD that causes Gameshark, Action Replay, and Codebreaker users, to have their statistics reset for cheating. This was done for MK:D, I would like to see that appear again for MK:A.

Okay I'll admit that I miss understood but there was no need for a personal attack since my attack was at online cheaters in general. Still why have a code the resets the count when you just ban the buggers? Its a much beter lesson.

Sorry about that.
I think that people who use cheat devices shouldn't be banned, but have their statistics simply revoked like before. The reason for this is people use the cheats to get those good statistics, and if they cannot do that anymore, there wouldn't really be a point for them to use it. I'm sure we would still get a few now and then, but it wouldn't be as bad, and they wouldn't benefit from it. Those who happen to run into those occasional cheaters usually just quit the matches anyways. So if people do happen to use them, they will get little out of it, they won't get statistics if they win, and other than that, people will simply quit on them.
If anything, I would rather they focused on the server quality and disconnection problems before worrying about cheaters.

People who hack should be banned. They're so pathetic; they can't win without the cheats. It'd be taking care of the weak and the cheaters in one swoop.
