I bought a Memory pro duo (Sony) Psp compatible one week ago and now it doesnt work properly no more. When i was playing a game that I put on it it crashed and all data became corrupted. I tried to format with the Psp but it wasnt working then i plugged my psp to my pc and format it using the pc. I unplugged it and try to format it with the psp but it showed memory not inserted, I kept on trying and it finally worked. But when i plugged it back to the PC there was no folder in the memory stick and i cannot create folders in it either.

Does anyone have an idea of what i can do?

First I need to know: what's your firmware, and which PSP model do you have, original or slim?

No, it's actually just a common issue people have been having. A lot of people I've been talking to down at Gamestop have reported the same thing; I believe there is just a bug in the firmware the prevents it from working properly.

Your regular PSP memory sticks work fine right?

Yes the regular does work fine. So is there anything to do? I tried it on a Sony Camera but it still doesnt save pictures.

Then all I can say is just stick to official PSP memory cards. Just because a product is compatable, doesn't make it the best thing to use. And always keep file saves backed up on your PC.

And if the firmware bug infects your normal memory stick, I'd call sony's main office and chew them out.
